Western Power

Said there are multiple properties when I typed in my address, the exact same one that's on my power bill. Admittedly the meter # worked though, so it's not completely flawed. Now it's telling me the power is on when it's most definitely not. The website also says power is down for my area.

We have a scheduled power outage today, so I was expecting to get a push AND an SMS notification. I got an alert from another source about my server being offline, as expected, but nothing from this app. Opening the app allowed me to see that the power should be on in 30mins, but we will see. I was expecting an all day outage.______edit: Just got a push and SMS advising that the outage will be longer than expected. Added a star, 4 stars now

Does not save my added property even though the app says it was added. Tried on a Nexus 5 phone and a Nexus 7 tablet. Tried with my street address and metre number. I reported to western power that I had partial power. Was advised to use this app but it refuses to save or show my added property so this is fundamentally flawed.

Power is definitely out in my area from huge storm, verified by Western power site and the fact of no electricity. App says I have power. Tried to register but only option for sms code was email which I can't access as I have no electricity and don't have it on my phone. Not user friendly.

For a professional company to put out such an app seems ridiculous. It's like Monty Python wrote this. Firstly my address was not recognised. (still get the bills though) then notifications didn't work. Then they worked but the power did not go off. Now I find that the in app messages, indicated by a red number on the icon, cannot be deleted once read. 2 stars for not corrupting my phone and looking pretty.

Shows power is on when we had no power in Kalbarri for near on 2 days, rang customer service who were helpful, took more information off me (email and ph No) but no feedback or contact yet, typical of Western Power, so don't waste your time using your data on this Faulty App, forget about compensation as Western Power will shift the blame every time, someone please start a Western Power facebook page so everyone can share their frustration.

Our power is out. The phone says it is out. This app says it is on. Don't upload until they get the information right.

Useless app, doesn't recognize my address however i receive bills?? And checking my area states my power is on however the whole street has no power

This app is rubbish if the power is off but the app says on whats the point. Didnt even send me a sms either.

App does not give correct information no power for 7 hrs but app didn't pick up faults in the area and now that there is no faults in the area the app is saying there is :/ better off calling

Does not work. We cur re ently have no power in our street but app say we do and has no way of reporting outage. App waste of time...

Our power was off for a long time but it said no faults for my address. It finally changed but it would be nice if it explained why the power was off. Galaxy s5.

Application does not record properties correctly, or keep them. If power is disrupted, the app still says that power is connected hours after the power is still off.

Got this app to find out about a planned outage and i didn't get an sms to tell me the time

Enter address, select from recognized search results, address not recognized! Uninstalled. The end! Reinstalled May 2016, issue still not fixed!

Gives you updates on power outages specific to addresses you provide. Can't ask for more. Spot on.

Power is currently off at my house. App says it's on. The website says it's off. What is the point if you don't use your existing database?!

Wont save meter number or address. Said the power was on when the power was off. Making a phone call gave correct information

Accurately identified my property and power status.

After installing app and entering my post code and selecting my area it tells me the power is on. It isn't its been out for 18+ hours and the phone line says there is no estimated time of repair. Gave up trying to register after 15 minutes of frustration. Im guessing John Gill worked on this app himself. Well im off to town to get more fuel for the genset

Website said reconnectiin in one hour, power has been out an hour = 2hrs. This app said that the power is on. App no good!!

What ashame to advertise over the phone to use this stupid apps...seems no one care about it...total failure..

Info differs from website, just use the website it's up to date
