This is a very good resource, thanks for making it free. Only thing I'd suggest for devs: have option to show procedures for kids. I have 2 kids at home, and was taught to turn my young child downwards if he's choking (from a first aid course).
It's good that this has been made free, as it is fairly basic at this time and there's quite a few improvements that can be made. For example, Drsabcd can probably be presented in a more elegant manner as it's a vital part of any first aid treatment - some of the information could also be made clearer. There's also a lot of potential for this to be used for member recruitment and management, which would help people enlist for events. Might send an email about that later, apps have a lot of potential.
Great app for revising course content. I like it. Suits my needs. Fits on my older-generation phone (small ram and small storage). In my case moved this app to SD card to free-up internal memory space.
I have epilepsy which you don't appear to have mentioned.
First Aid
NEEDED BY ALL
I bought this app after doing a first aid course with St John but this app is terrible. Can't use a single feature without it immediately crashing. Great if I need it in an emergency. Waste of good money. Really disappointed will be uninstalling
its pretty ok but if only it could be more interactive and speak to you. it would be a little difficult while doing first aid on someone and having to flick through & read the instructions at the same time.. just a thought for the creaters to think about =]
A lot of free alternatives eg the Welsh version have more information, but it's still better then nothing and the money goes to a good cause. Hopefully the add more eventually.
I want to know what to do and how to identify if my grandmother is having a stroke or heart attack.
I thought this was good until I downloaded the Australian Red Cross first aid app for FREE and it seems to have a lot more information as well as videos. Also info on drowning and rescue breathing. For nearly 5 dollars, this app isn't worth it when the red Cross is free and has more info.
Handy to have
As someone else said, this is a reasonable app but lacking info in some important areas, like poisoning, stroke, head, neck and spinal injuries. Despite another review to the contrary, there is some basic information on CPR. The price is quite high for an app, and one would normally expect a pretty sophisticated app for this price, but it is not. I don't mind paying that for some piece of mind just to help me remember the details if ever i had a real emergency (i am current on training). But one other commentator said the UK and USA Red Cross apps are free and much better (but have slightly differing advice obviously). Just realised there is an Australian Red Cross one that is free so will install it and compare.
This is okay for revising first aid course content. I was expecting more for the price though, such as voice guidance through the DRSABCD mode and a metronome once you enter CPR, like the defibs and some other first aid phone apps have. Maybe these things can be included in an update. This version ties your hands up too much and requires too much reading for emergency situations.
Reasonable app but lacking info in some important areas, like head, neck and spinal and CPR.
There is very little actual content in this app. Not worth the money. I have buyers remorse.
Gives basic help and is a good reminder if you've done their (excellent course), using the same terminology as the first aid course. Is essential to read through this app from time to time to keep refreshed for an emergency. I'm hoping for more details in future updates. Don't mind price since is donation to a worthy cause.
Just so you know the British red cross first aid app and the American one are both free and superior to this. I thought St John ambulance was non profit yet they charge 4.50 bucks for first aid info. Good work guys
Loving it! Great work to all involved!

App has a nice layout however information is old and needs updating and it does not cover enough topics one star for now. I'll try another app
