AT Park for Android
App was working fine until Dec. Where my last two parks I had closed the parking and the app continued my parking till end of the day and I got charged fully. Called AT park helpline and got hooked AT general line and had to be transferred to AT park line. There the CS agent was trying to tell me that only one credit could be given. Further there was no interest in understanding why the app bugged and charged me for whole day. Pretty useless if/when it goes wrong. Both the app and support services are not up to scratch when compared to other apps
Never received sms verification code. Edit: made a typo in my number. When I try to log in now, in get an errorafter entering my number plate saying that I need to use a different email address because my email is already in use...
Just here to edit my previous 3 star review to 5 stars since the map issue has been fixed. Woo! This app is a great companion whether or not you usually park in the city. It's ridiculously easy to use and can save you a few bucks. Cheers to AT and the app developers!

I dont like the fact this new system has no txt option for payment anymore. This is a real hussle using the company credit card and having to waste time putting through claims each month. Bring back payment for mobile accounts
I've just installed the app but can't get into it. I keep getting the error message "Sorry, currently unable to connect you to the AT Park service. Please try again later".
I keep getting charged double what I'm meant to be paying per hour. Can't seem to find someone to contact about it either and their call centre you just wait and wait and wait...
Awesome. Probably need a renew feature so people don't get caught out. If I say switch it on for half hour at a time and it just asks me whether I want to keep going
Useless. When I try to use my existing AT Account, it just gives an error UserEmail already exists.
I keep getting the same notifications for my sessions ending, no matter how many times I dismiss them. I'm running Android 8 on a Nexus 5x. Is anyone else seeing this?
Cannot use without new Zealand mobile phone number. Have a roaming USA phone, couldn't get past opening screen. Seems silly to require this on an app useful for travelers
Its pretty good now. No longer have to look for coins or waste time at slow machines

Very handy except when the parking period that you paid for traverses 2 days i.e. you pay for 24 hours when you park at say 16:00 in line with the price displayed on the parking machine and regardless it expires at 23:59 that same day instead of 15:59 the following day. The result is that you end up having to pay twice as much as if you had used the parking meter or receive an infringement notice. As a result I give this a almost adequate rating that would be much higher if it were not for this bug in the system.
This is the best app the public service can have. Way beyond my expectations. However, I heard from news, the government spent over 700k to develop this app, are you kidding me? If it was a corrupted government, I wud guess someone get 600k from the project. If not, I doubt the government's public bidding process.. seriously.
If i could get it to sign into my at account if be able to tell you more .. 20 min just waiting. Hate to think the data been used. Went and pparked elsewhere and paid Wilson's parking more expensive half the hassle!
Honest opinion wasted 1 hour just trying to get it started failed in the end. First it took lots of time to verify my mobile number, couldn't log in using my At hop account and finally failed to reguster me in the end.
Great way to pay for parking, but there is no way to set the default time limit, it defaults to maximum each time. Also the max time differs from what the machine says, which is it? 2 hours or 13? Unable to start parking until the parking hours are in force, rather than pay now and it kicks in when the hours start. Also, how about a GPS detection for when you go back to your car so it reminds you to end your parking. Sometimes I forget.
So much promise, but massive fail. Couldn't get past verifying my mobile as screen wouldn't allow any input. Did they thoroughly user test this?
No problem in sign-up. It's easy to use and charges by minutes you park (not hours). However, when I first used it, it showed two pending transactions in my credit card, which made me nervous in the beginning. It was latter added one back. You can only check your account history via log into your AT account. A little inconvenient.
Does what it sets out to do and luckily I didn't experience any login issues mentioned in some reviews. GPS very hit and miss though; only works in occasion, but frequent locations are saved so that's a saving grace. Good way to save money on parking.
I recently bought a car and also changed by credit card. There is no way I can go to "my account". So now my AT park is basically useless.. I rang the help centre, they could not fix the problem.. Stuck in the mud
A few issues at first setting up and the customer service number is for IHOP but once someone eventually called me it has been amazing easy to use not paying anymore for too much time and only charged for what I use. No transaction fees I probably save between $7-$10 dollars per week
Now that the initial registration problem is resolved, the app works well enough. Starting a parking session is easy, but I've had problems stopping the session a couple of times as the active parking session doesn't always show up straight away when you reopen the app. Also, I wish I could use my AT Hop card credit to pay instead of a debit or credit card — I use the same account for AT Hop and AT Park, so why not use the Hop credit to pay for parking? If this was possible then I'd be much happier with the app.
Great initiative but the registration flow needs work - there's no need to burden users with the tedious task of entering their phone number, email address, name etc. manually on Android! You can get this from the system if the user grants permission.
Rediculous that the default park time is 10 hrs!! Seems a bit like theft! Fix this and its 5 stars
Great app. One suggestion, if ongoing parking sessions can be a persistent notification on my phone so I don't forget to Stop Parking, that would be perfect.
Great app. Saves money by pricing by the min and transaction fees. Would be so much better if you could have multiple credit cards or personas (ie business/personal) and be able to extend the time if you have put a limit on a bit short accident. Well worth it as it is thou.
Good idea. Broken implementation for long term stays. I downloaded this app hoping to use it to stay in the long term parking area (7 day) at Matiatia car park. I used the correct code (printed on the machine), but the app does not let you park for more than until the end of the day. Two very useless and frustrating calls with the AT Park team confirmed that they cannot envision parking that lasts beyond that same evening! They recommended I wake up at 3am each day to renew the parking, what a joke! Ultimately I am not impressed by this app. Had it not existed I would've paid by credit card at the machine and saved all the trouble!!!
Works well, easy to use and you don't have to pay a transaction fee. However just recently I paid for 2 hrs parking, $3/hr and even though I moved down the street after 2 hrs (but same area code) and started a new session 10 mins later, they charged me as if I had never left therefore charging $6/hr (Beach Rd). The app also, needs a scheduling option for parking overnight (when parking is free till 8am) as it is a hassle to sort out in the morning.
Such a great app. Love being able to park for the exact time i need, rather than laying for too long/too short. Only thing i' d recommend for improvement is to allow multiple credit cards (business/personal).

Nice idea, but bad implementation. The MyAT login registration is totally non-working at the moment. I would have hoped that a critical system used to authenticate logins would be monitored for failures.

I love this app for parking in the city. I no longer have to fumble around for coins or pay the transaction fee, and I'm paying exactly for how long I'm parked. And I also like the fact that it's one less paper ticket floating around in my car. Thanks AT!
