The Hamilton Island App is available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. The app will automatically download in the phones default language. To use in a different language, you will need to change the default language on the phone.
Connectivity:
This App requires a connection to either a Wi-Fi or cellular data network in order access the most up-to-date information. Some free Wi-Fi hotspots are located across the island for guests staying at any Hotel operated by HIE.
There are generally good cellular phone signals accessible from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone networks across the island, although guests should note that there are some isolated locations on the island that may have weak, or no cellular signal.

One of the restaurant maps showed it was on dent island. There is no way of telling what's open when, except for opening every outlet link and scrolling. Limited information about some restaurants and no menu.

It would be good when hitting the map that it shows the shuttle's and prices of spas rather than closing the app, you have to got to the website and get the prices, Athens a link in the app to the main site location

The info offered is excellent and current. Kudos on that!! Navigation design is OK but the app is rather slow....there's significant lag (frame drop on the animation and transitions between pages). It's not the smoothest user experience.
