Who can use GymBetter?
- You don't have to be a Medibank member to take advantage of GymBetter, although Medibank health insurance members get a discount on every gym visit.
- The GymBetter app requires internet connection.
- The GymBetter app is only available for Android or Apple smartphones with up to date software.
- Gyms can only be accessed during staffed hours. You can find a list of available hours per gym in the app.
- You will need to successfully complete the questions in our Health and Fitness questionnaire in order to register for GymBetter.
- You have to be aged 16 years and older to register for GymBetter. Users between 16 and 18 years get limited access to the GymBetter network. Users 18 years and older have greater access to the GymBetter network, subject to the gyms’ terms and conditions.

My closest gyms on this program are 13kms away. I have 3 local gyms including the PCYC but these are not included. Why not give a 25% rebate on any gym rather than just Medibank Private business affiliates? Useless. Uninstall.

I updated the app and lost my first free session. Not impressed. Very limited number of gyms. Since updating the app, many nearby gyms have dropped off

Not user friendly at all - looks like the only way you can buy a pass is by 'searching' for a gym but nothing loads. Have tried over WiFi and data, with location turned on and turned off, nothing. If you're going to offer something through an app only, the app needs to work.

Since the update single passes are $14 (or $11 for medibank members) and they've removed the discount for multiple passes. This was a great concept but the new pricing ruins it - what's the point of this app when you can pay that much for a day pass anyway?

Excellent Idea, however the App just crashes when I try to change my password. I get "Unfortunatley, GymBetter has stopped" whenever i try to reset my password or login using my existing password. Gets worse I tried to use the online support on the medibank website. They offered to call me back, they then put called me, put me on hold for 15 mins then told me that it was the wrong department. They also mentioned that the gymbettter app has no known issues, yet reading the reviews here tells a very different story.

I'm a corporate top level cover and have been for couple of years. Can't even make it past the 2nd page of registration. 36 times I've done it it has never even hinted why.

The concept is fantastic and I've never had any problem accessing gyms near me. Lately though the search function has not been working on the app; it won't show me gyms near me or any Fernwood options. Hope this is cleared up soon.

When I enter my Medibank number into the app I get the discounted price but the next time I go to use the app it automatically reverts back to $11.95 and I have to re-enter my Medibank number to get the discounted price again which is really annoying.

Latest version fixes a lot of the issues other users are complaining about. I'm not a medibank customer and have been using it for weeks with no troubles. Excellent idea and saving me a bit.

This app is useless! Shear for a gym and the blue wheel just keeps on turning! No change in screen, no results, no nothing. Fix this asap as you are loosing a customer in a minute! 0 stars if I could.
