Go - Melbourne Train Timetable for Android
This is a well designed app with a very simple, attractive and intuitive interface. Works well as described. However, for a paid version, is lacking some features such as service interruptions, platform number, titles for widgets. And, ideally would be better if it was possible to set a schedule when the widgets and the app itself continously updates. App and widgets always updating in the background would have an impact on battery life.
This app has saved me so many times! I love that it supports VLINE, makes my commute from Ballarat to Melbourne a lot easier! I wish there was a version of this app that supported busses! :)
Absolutely love this app and use it everyday. Works so well and looks really good. Only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars is the fact that I wish it should say if it was an express train or stopping all station. Otherwise this app is perfect!!!!! Worth upgrading
At last a local train app that has just the information I want without all of the distractions. The interface and interaction is beautiful in its simplicity.
Although you may need to pay for more timetables it is an excellent app for finding the closet train the easiest.
Would defs recommend to everyone. Very useful for anyone using train services :)
It give only next train not the time table for all day
Good and accurate
Would be great if there was train times for delays adjusted and weekend train times. Let me know if otherwise.

But please add which platform the train departs from

Great simple interface for managing my common trips
Brief and great!
Easy to use . Very accurate timming.
Goood
Using for about a year now. This is a great app and serves it purpose perfect. Want to check when your next train is, this is your app. Want all the extras of linking trips etc this isn't for you!! Simple purpose, great interface.
This product is good. End of commercial
Helpful
Use it all thr time
While lacking feature wise, I think used for trips taken daily (e.g. to work or school) it's a great way to glance at the for the next, or subsequent train times. I love the design, such as the circular countdown and colour changes for sooner the departure. I'm inclined to pay for the iap, due to the lack of any nicely designed apps for Metro, but I think others might be deterred from the app's lack of features for use outside much more than trips that are already accustom.
This app is great. In two taps/swipes I can find out when the next half dozen or so trains are running from my preferred station. It does one thing and does it very well. I hadn't realised you need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the list- this makes all the difference.
It's a very useful and easy to use app, however I think there needs to be at least two train planners in the free version, or the price of the full version needs to be lowered. What you could also do is charge 50c as a microtransaction for every timetable a user wishes to save. I prefer it over train trapper as it this app includes vline regional services which is fantastic!
I have been using the app for about a month and found its simple interface meets my needs, when is the next available train, at a quick glance. I think that the people who give this a low rating, don't understand its premise is to find frequently need when the next train is quickly. I have paid to get access to the Extra features.
One saved trip, that's all you get. You can't even search. So limited then wants you to pay. Steer clear, plenty of better apps for Melbourne transport
Good work! The android app works really nicely :)
I would not pay for the premium version based on what the free one delivers. Seems you can only put in one start station and end station? What if you want to see the reverse? What if I'm close to a station in between? Interface is nice and smooth but have to agree train trapper is still the best train app for Melbourne. (for now)
Cant handle morning trips going opposite direction of loop. Doesn't offer half the features of train trapper which is free.
Clean and simple to use. I feel like it should be slightly less than $2.50 for the premium version given its current functionality
Counterintuitive interface. Doesn't display simple timetables. Not location-aware. Wouldn't recommend over Train Trapper.
Really nice interface but Train Trapper is significantly more useful
Simple, clean, easy to use and most importantly correct. Now if Metro could only do the same with the service!
Very cool interface and really useful. Why cant all apps be this user friendly
Nice clean UI
Limited to 1 trip makes it a bit more of a trial. The animation should be relative to the remaining time, when circle gone, times up. The current PTV app is actually quite good or Train Trapper is better. I do like how the app tells you in big font how long to go, and the next few trains if you swipe up.
Timetables inaccurate
Nice UI and good concept. But we have train trapper which is free and provides so much more.
