Update 2/2018. Fantastic app Saves me $$ every time. Updates 14/2. Was great when it worked. Won't let me login and had many crashes to reset password. Still not able to login. No one responds to crash reports. Great way to save money. I would still give this a 5 even though performance can be improved. I never used to buy fuel from 7eleven before and now I almost always buy there rate lock or not

Just downloaded the app. Made a fuel card login on my pc. Logged in to it on the app. Tried to add some credit but it failed. "Error code Lima." Tried again but now it says "velocity rule breached". Very poor user experience. The fuel price is about to go up and if I miss out I will not be happy !!

Update: 25/02/2018 - Still no response from their useless support team, I mean come on why bother having a support email and you don't even respond. Stupid system says my mobile registered to another account when i only have one account, which means I cannot use the app. 5 attempts now trying to get support and still nothing... Disgraceful!

Frustrating way to register. 2 email addresses and 4 password attempts. It is one error code to another. your UX team need to learn a better process. Might as well use Google plus login and offer 7-11 account as add-on. No point in attempting to mine user data behavior by forcing user to use 7-11 account if your internal registration is a pain to use.

I used to use this app every week for my fuel as I need to refill at least 3 times a week. At first it was great but now it won't even let me put money into my account. Keeps coming up Juliet error or breach notice. It is beyond a joke now and has gone from a time saving way to get your fuel cheap to now just being a pain in the arse!

This app is helpful if you want to save money with petrol. But it needs a bit of improvement as I always have troubles paying for my petrol via the app. The staff at the 7-eleven branch I go to always has to scan the voucher heaps of times before it goes through. And today, I felt a bit embarrassed because I presented the voucher and it didn't go through. I thought it was all good so I walked away already. Then the staff stopped me as I didn't pay for the petrol yet. But I showed him the voucher in the app and he scanned it already. Other than that, the app is okay.

It was a great app till I can't even login into it anymore. Already called customer service for help, but the things they try to remedy the problem is not working. Always get foxtrot or golf error. Please fix this. Got help from their customer service and WORKS. Thanks!

Con. Lock-in mechanism won't even allow me to reset the price by buying when the price drops below the lock-in price. The bought petrol is at the lower price, but the locked-in price remains at the higher level. Will junk the app as soon as I've used up the credit.

App is broken for me at the moment. Won't let me login. If I can't login will have spent $50 for a huge saving of $10. Fantastic. Was actually pretty good when it worked. Have contacted customer service - will update if the issue is resolved.

Was working fine until recent update and now won't scroll down to search for prices. All the other pages scroll but the front doesn't I have $80 on my account and can't use it. I hope the devs read these reviews because I can't see any other way to contact them Would have given the old app 5 stars, but the new app gets one star.

Used to work fine till i changed my service provider. Now Im being told its the issue with service provider apparently they have blocked 7eleven fuel app. Help desk tried but to no vail. All they keep saying we'll escalate the issue, send us screen shot of this and that. To much hassle. They know the issue but not sure what they going to do about it.

Fuel lock in function is useless when using to search for best local price as it is determined at 5:10am. As it isn't real time, you will most likely find the search store location function better as it will display real time price which is often cheaper. My local showed $1.369 while lock in price showed $1.399 at 1am. It still showed the same after 10:30am, si it looks like lock in is more than location price rendering the lock in search function redundant. Food freebies and discounts are its only saving grace.

This App falls well short of what is promised on TV. After you have signed up and divulged your personal details you discover this app fails time and time again. Im reporting this app to the ombudsman it's very suspicious. You can never log in to your account and lock a fuel price in. It simply is a shame. Another suss move from the 711 empire!

Tried to get it to work since realease, had had many messages through thr support email and have gotten no where with them besides them telling me to factory reset my phone to get the app to.maybe work. No point. Good concepts but getting error codes every time i try to log in is ridiculous. Using samsung galaxy s7.

would probably be handy if it worked. constant error message. needs GPS for local fuel even if I'm looking closer to my destination. never actually got any prices due to the error messages. uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. waste of time

After last update the screen is messed up. Cannot see lock button on 4.5" mobile. Disappointed especially problem known to developers for weeks. Is customer service doing anything about that?

I live inner-city so the fuel is always top $, but it only compares the ones near me. I can see a few km away I could save 10c a l, but it doesn't let me lock in that price. I travel around so I'm better off just keeping an eye out and filling up when I see a good price. I'm actually less inclined to use 7 eleven as I feel conned.

Love the option of price lock. It saves money for us. Enjoy a free coffee in between. App has login issues sometimes. Once price lock expires, it stays on that page and doesn't let me search again. It would be nice to select location and locm price.

It was great when it worked but it won't search for fuel prices on my phone. Although on my tablet it can lock in a price and add money from my account, I can't spend it because the vouchers do not scan. I have money tied up in a faulty app.

It was a great app but now it is not. Too many restrictions have been placed on this app. Constantly getting 'velocity rule breach' over two credit cards now. I've spent around $100 for two fuel vouchers across ten days. I can't use the app anymore. Back to United it is then.

This is ridiculous since the update a couple of weeks ago I now cannot lock in the cheapest price and I have reinstalled it and I had to ring and complain about the barcode failing to come up also please fix bugs for Android users asap thanks

Saves 1 cent per litre mostly. The best 2 cents. So to save q meagre dollar you need to buy around 60-70ltrs each time spending around $80. Not a big saving after all the fuss with using app etc.

Takes a ridiculous amount of screwing around to get it to work if you're a virgin customer, and its not intuitive in how you want it to work. I can reserve 40 litres of low price fuel but can't tell it I want $40 worth of low price fuel even though that's how the pump lets you select how much you want in dollars, not litres.

When you click on the offers you don't see the barcode instead you see error message asking you to "try again later". I've restarted the phone. Reinstalled the app. And still ive got the same problem. I couldn't even claim my free krispy kreme on sign up

Your app will not let me lock.in any price. I have credit sitting there and for what nothing. I hate your app and would like a refund of my money as i have uninstalled and reinstalled and even ask one of your servo attendees and he had no clue. Oh and even tried to contact you via the 24-7 customer service you provide in the trouble shooting section and nope it aparently don't exist only to call the number provided to be waiting more than 30mins to the point i hung up. Why have an app with so many issues and make it frustrating and impossible to contact you. Completely dissatisfied.

The old version worked great the latest update makes it so I can't scroll down to look for cheapest fuel wasted a lot of time changing phone setting etc trying to shrink the screen so I can use the menu setting fix it FFS .

My front screen for the 7 Eleven locks so I cannot lock in the price. Many phone calls and unanswered emails are of no help for the last month! My phone is perfect otherwise

Wasted 15 minutes of my life trying to log in. Just hangs. Get it right guys and u might score more business.

Was working fine until v1.4.1. I am now unable to lock in fuel in my Samsung Galaxy S6. Android 7.0.1. Giving this one star until app bug fix happens

Errors galore, won't let me log in to secure prices. Tried to lock in a price the other day, now prices have gone up almost 30c/L. Have tried updating, reinstalling etc. Never worked & very disappointed

Fuel lock doesn't work on the latest update. Please make the previous version available until the issue is fixed. (Along with many other people, i find it impossible to use the money in the account. Contravenes agreement and consumer rights ) . Please do the right thing

About 10 days ago the bar codes for some offers started having "Error Please try again later" issue, no matter how many times I tried, the issue persists, so I end up having to pay rather using the offer. The weird thing is that some offers bar codes work without problems.

Appears to be a scam, both my wife and I have tried to load the app and register, as there is a low price we want to lock in But as all the other users have noted there is a mysterious error, and the required registration email doesn't turn up. Don't waste your time giving another corporation your email so they can spam your in box. Very disappointing.

Saves me money and gets me free coffee every now and then... No complaints here. Had a problem and it was fixed the next day by customer service. Good job 7 eleven.

Happy customer :-) --- 17.02.2018 updating my review to a lower rating and also seems to me like the app is now not working as all petrol stations showing the same price when the station i used to lock in at was 20cents a litre cheaper.. somethings odd here. Also couldnt use it at all yestersay as nothing would load properly and couldnt even log in.. annoyed as i now have money tied in this app and its pretty useless to me right now.

Love it..saved many $$.. recommended to all my friends.. + free stuff under my offers are the bonus..be vigilant.. whenever you see other pump prices are going up.. lock it in..711 changes the rates later than other pumps.. enjoy the savings..

Good app. We get free coffee plus save $$ too. Like the idea to lock in and fill up anywhere. Would be great if the voucher was valid till 10 days instead of 7.

Great idea especially if you live in a suburb with high fuel prices as you can lock it in when your in the city and refuel later at home cheaper. The only downside is keeping enough money in the app to pay for your fuel which i have found it easier to leave money on it and than just pay by card at the servo to save recharging the app.

The 7-Eleven Fuel App is only coded for large screen phones. I have a Samsung J1 mini and the select cheapest price button is hidden behind the menu at the bottom.of the fuel price Lock page. There is no reduce magnification function on this popular phone. Making the text the smallest it can go makes no difference. The older version of the app worked okay. Customers rate this at one and two stars. The issues could be fixed and should be. Do not.pay with credit or debit card. The attendant charges you then tells you the 7-Eleven fuel app discount does not apply. Pay cash or with pre-loaded app.
