Memz - The Best and Simplest Tree Notepad

No ability to export an entire node with sub-nodes into text or HTML. Lacking in basic features most similar apps provide (markup, attachments, images, etc). No automatic sync to other cloud services. Zero updates in the last twelve months. For $12 a year (to remove ads)? Feature complete apps don't cost $12, let alone require a subscription. Well, it looks nice. Hopefully these issues will have been solved the next time I check on its progress.

Would like to see more options, can't embolden, underline or do italics. It would be nice to give users a choice of different fonts and enable them to change font size/colour etc then would give 5 stars. Would certainly make this a working progress. Please make this a reality for people with a sight impediment like myself. Can't wait to see great changes!!!

New version beginning of 2017... No way to move notes? Things moved, without notice, so they must be scrolled-for even on a largish screen. Not helpful. Overall this app which seemed so full of promise remains obtuse and without intuitive process and STILL lacks adequate use information. Old: Took a while but looks to have been worth the wait - nice hierarchical listmaker/notes app. Usage not particularly intuitive (at least to me) and (web-based) instructions are for an older version but can be figured out with some playing around.

I used the original version of Memability. It seemed to change to Memz.co ( color green with leady background) and it's harder to use. What happened to the older version? That was the best. Please bring it back. Otherwise I will just uninstall this new version.

I love this app, and have been using it exclusively for several years now. I wish they'd kept the name "Memability", though -- it's much nicer than "Memz.co". UPDATE: They tend to change the UI for no reason, and recently removed all the options. Unfortunately, this means I have to reduce my 5-star rating. I will be searching for another note-taking app.

Too glitchy to use on S7.

Lost all my old notes when I "upgraded." As I'm going to have to re-enter everything by hand, I may as well enter it into something else.

Doesn't look like it does in the app store. No themes to change to, just a background of a leather type book. No way to multi-level lines as it shows. If this is their new look... look elsewhere.

Finally we've got settings where you can customize the look of the app. You have unlimited options of customizing color theme, and adjusting font size. The long wait was worthy, this is truly masterpiece. Thank you! Excellent app for those who want hierarchical notes with unlimited folders and subfolders for all sorts of notes.

I like the idea of hierachical notes/tasks, whatever. But i found after 3 days of use that after choosing the notes the ability to move them between the notes: only showing share, delete and cancell selection options maybe i do something wrong?

1. Why can't I change my password or access my account? 2. Why does so much of the note body text automatically turn in to a hyperlink? (and / or mysteriously change font). ... Also doesn't justify correctly. 3. How do I select items?

I've been back to this app a few times hoping it would implement a number of features, but now I see it wants a subscription to remove ads! I call this totally ridiculous. I'll use Simplenote - it's free, does more, and supports Markdown. And, developer, before you respond that the app works fully without a subscription but contains ads; I am already aware (I can read) and still find it a catastrophic failure!

Innovative app. Like the "tree" form factor. Problem is the word processor is very basic. No enhancement such as bold, italics, color. Slow progress. ADDEN : Just to add that those of us loyal to this app still believe developer will add text enhancements to this app.

Unbelievable. Just updated the app (it's been a while), and all notes entirely wiped clean. Everything gone. Searched through the app and its settings, but no trace of anything.

Generally it suits my needs. I just find moving a node to a different location not user friendly.

I have been looking for an easy to edit heirarchy outliner that is easy to use on my phone this is the best one I have come across. It is very easy to move and copy trees once you take the time to learn the interface. It is the only app I have found that allows unlimited depth. Now the added cloud feature makes it even better. I use it for keeping track of parts and assemblies.

You rent the app by paying either monthly or annually. Buying into this only encourages these folks to continue this model and others to follow suit.

An important app in my life but I absolutely hate that it doesn't allow you to indent a line or put more than one space between words.

This is how thoughts work. You get an idea, then other ideas, tasks or notes are within that idea, and it's expandable. I love this app!

I really love the tree layout. It makes it a lot easier to organize your notes. It just needs better options for fonts. It would be nice to be able to bold or change fonts.

Love this app! Btw: I need some functions from Zimwiki: calender entries for diary records. And: use the homepage to restructure your notes. Easier than using this app.

Deserves 5stars all day long. Very unique, exactly what I need. No unnecessary features that would clutter app. It's reliable, and you can easily and perfectly organize all your notes, plans, ideas.... People who rate it low don't know what they doing, forgive them. They don't see pearl among stones. This app doesn't pretend to be something that it's not.

Even in my pen and paper notes I have always used tree structures (organisation of ideas is always essential to me), so was quite pleased to find this tool. After years of use I am still extremely happy with this app and wouldn't use anything else for any kind of note.

After seeing that some of the licensed features (graphical customization) could be circumvented by simply tapping in a certain way, I'd much rather keep my terrible writing in a file that I control and sync with a third party app. I also wish that it had backup to an sqlite database. Lastly, the always-present Memz/Memability banner at the top uses up valuable screen space. The note trees would be great; I just can't be locked in to a closed ecosystem.

Much better than just "notes" apps you find on the net. Easy to organize and especially "find" your files. Should improve text format.
