Only use this because aus post stopped a perfectly good email alert service for post boxes. Now I lose the alert if the phone is rebooted. Utterly pointless, bring back email alerts so I can ditch this rubbish. Despite update that claims improved login, it still uses SMS every time.
Australia Post - why are you making things more difficult for your customers? To get a simple notification that I have mail in my PO Box is a rigmarole, all I wanted was a email telling me I have mail!!!!!!!! Instead your poorly thought out system led me to join many dots and much time asking your staff (who don't have any idea about how this system works) only to figure out that only this app will notify me if it is installed on my phone - then after installing and logging in I don't get any notification! Pigeons - you need lots of pigeons, they will be cheaper, friendlier and more efficient than this system.
Please stop using 2 factor authentication.. Its very annoying and slows me down. Youve traded security over a pleasent user experience and this app doesnt need it.
For some reason Australia Post now requires an SMS Code on top of the pin. Trouble is if you're on the same phone the message comes in on, it logs you out when you retrieve the code and then puts you in a loop doing again. Called "Customer Service" - person clearly couldn't care less and to AP clearly it IS an issue based on other complaints here. Unimpressed.
All I want is notification of PO BOX mail. Can't we go back to simple email? That worked flawlessly unlike this app.....sigh...
Notifications do mot work at all on Android Galaxy Tab A. They work on iOS, but not on Android. Very frustrating.
Silly concept. Only use it for po box notifications and they don't work unless I manually log in to the app each day. Based on that experience there's no way I would consider having all my bills forwarded to this app.
Just like everyone else, all I want, is to get an email notification when I recieve mail at my PO BOX so I know when to go and check it. What I keep getting told is to set it up on this app through mail2day... so answer me this... where is the section for mail2day notifications? Because no matter what I select, I only get notifications if I get a parcel thats got tracking. Why have you made it so convoluted to get a simple notification?
Its dumb & annoying that you get a sms every time you have to open the app. Your in the app then you have to get out of the app to get the sms code them go back into the app. It takes twice as long….. A password is enough!!
Proper Prior Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance... Unable to login definitely using same account details as website
Has issues with notifying when mail and parcels arrive
Notifications don't work properly... Fix it!
Notifications of mail in my PO Box arrives at weird random times, if ever. Otherwise have to log in to check. Some of us are forced to have a PO box due to no roadside delivery service to our homes, so it is quite useful to know that we are not wasting our time checking our PO box for mail. Would be fantastic if it showed whether a parcel has to be collected over the counter or not.
I used to pay to get sms when mail arrived in po box. But with this new system it can take weeks to get sms even though the daily notifications are displayed if you login. Post office can't help. So what am i supposed to do?
Crap login process that just makes it useless. Requiring a OTP for every login just drove me to delete the App altogether Won't accept my actual address tries to force me to save an incorrect address . So far has done nothing of value to help me with my PO Box or manage my bills. Just pointless.
I got one notification once saying I had mail. Since then I've assumed I had no mail as no notifications, but guess what! I do have mail. Crappy app, Aus Post.
For someone who just wants to know if they have mail, the removal of push notifications and multiple levels of security is frustrating. The previous version sent notifications when I had mail. Please add this feature back.
I took a Po box 6 months ago and redirected all my mails to there. since then never received any notification in my app. Called aupost many times but they dont know what the issue is.. poor quality service and app for such a big organization. . Lame.
I can't understand why everyone is so difficult. I cannot work out how to move a bill to my personal storage.
The app requires me to log in every time and verify a code via text message. As a result I do not get any Mail2day push notifications and have to manually log in every time I open the app , verify the code and check for notifications manually. Am email to the developers appears to be pointless at this stage as have all my previous dealings with Auspost support in general. Unfortunately, I don't expect to have this resolved by them.
To check if po box mail arrived you need to log in by remembering your password, then it sends an sms code that needs to be entered which means exiting the login page to get the code, so the page closes. Catch-22. Pointless.
The app is OK but the newest update has broken the mailbox activity notification. Also your support email address on this app page returns an email that says "We're sorry, we couldn't locate your case."
There is no way to log in while overseas as they will only send sms code to Australian mobile no. So there is no way to check your mail or pay your bills, outside Australia. Frustrating!
I get notified every time I have mail in my po box. My post office was extremely helpful and guided me to make the best of its features. Very happy!
Every time you try to login it sends a new code so the code you were sent does not work!
Twice been sent unsolicited documents. Not what I thought this was for.
It didn't accept my password wants verification code and won't let me put it in on my phone. Can access on computer with original password. Notifications of mail were not reliable when I could access the app.
Didn't pay the developer of the PDF renderer enough and all documents have a watermark on them now. Great job.
It often notifies me that there is mail when then is none and doesn't notify me when there is mail waiting to be collected. I also can't seem to log into the app anymore.
Sometimes I receive notification of mail arriving, other times mail has arrived but no notification has been received.
Seems to work for me. I get push notifications. Don't get an sms everytime, maybe it's because I set the pin login? Just wish I could add another account to it as I have two PO Box to check.
I have an account but it won't recognise my details for me to log in or change my password.
I love how easy to use and notifications are great so you don't have to go and check it out every day.
Being able to have a digital receipt is good especially if moving house . Like did I pay that bill. I'll just check my digital mailbox.
This app is fantastic for notifications and information. I now can't live without it.
PFFFFFFFT
When EMAIL alerts were the system I received an email whenever post arrived. It WAS efficient, old school, great and it WORKED! Now it's necessary to check and log into this app every day to check if I might have mail it's a hassle not a help. Notifications should be sent as soon as mail arrives. This app has potential though presently it's more time efficient to trek to the post office then spend time checking this app every day. Much room for improvement!
Used to get email or SMS notification if new mail arrived in PO Box. Now you need to install some app and there is multiple apps which seem to do the same. Why do I need to log in every time I want to use this app ? Different to any other Android app. Login is different to Australia Post website logins. Total UX #fail ! Another small update - same crap overall
Just signed up website, downloadee the app, put in the same login details.... nope, all of a sudden my credentials are incorrect. Thanks for wasting my time.

What a poor service you've provided. You took simple services and ease of use and locked t h em behind closed doors. Have to sign up to services multiple times and keep receiving a text message to log in after I've correctly submitted my password. This shows why you're a failing company australia post. You simply don't get it fo you.
