MAPinr is a simple (ad-free) Android app that allows you to manage your kml/kmz/gpx files and view them on different maps. MAPinr is perfect for professional use but also hiking, cycling, running, skiing, etc.

MAPinr provides the following functionality:
1. Ad free / No ads
2. Hierarchical folder structure for managing multiple kml/kmz/gpx files
3. Create, load, edit, save, import, export and share kml/kmz files
4. Create, load, edit, save, import, export and share waypoints, lines/tracks and polygons
5. Add pictures to your waypoints (to create photomaps)
6. Display waypoints, lines/tracks and polygons on different maps (Google Maps, Google Satellite, Google Hybrid, OpenStreetMap (OSM), Opentopomap, Mapquest, Opencyclemap, OVI)
7. Share coordinates of waypoints
8. Individually colorize waypoints, lines/tracks and polygons
9. Open exported kml/kmz files in Google Earth
10. Search by name, address and coordinates
11. Location-sharing to let your friends know where you are
12. Display multiple kml/kmz/gpx files simultaneously
13. Merge kml/kmz files
14. Google drive (gdrive) integration
15. Measure distances and areas on your map
16. Multilanguage (currently English, Spanish, Lithuanian)
Extended features (For free with donation or like on Facebook or G; activate in Settings):

Compared to related apps MAPinr will not sniff into your private data or even sell it. It requires the following permissions:
• Approximate location / precise location: Required to show your current location on the map. MAPinr also works with GPS fully deactivated.
• Modify or delete / read the contents of your USB storage: Required for storing and loading kml/kmz files and photos.
• Access Google Photos: Required to add photos from Google Photos to a waypoint.
• Access to the camera to add pictures to the pins (photopoints).
• Read Google service configuration: Required for map access.
• Full network access: Required for downloading map data from the Internet.
• In app purchase for donations (Please note that donations are a free contribution to support our work. Since we DO NOT track/store identifying data from our users donations made on one device do not unlock the features on an another device.)

Excellent app! I use it all the time with offline GPX/KML routes I have created, to navigate my way through trails when cycling. So far I had no issues with it and It has been very reliable. *One very welcome addition would be, an elevation graph for the loaded GPX route, with an indication of your current location on that graph* Thanks for a great app. Keep up the good work

maps are clearly not vector based(they are loaded in tiles, eat bandwidth and are blurred on high-density displays, UNLIKE the official Google Maps app)—are you using old SDK or something? Please do it right… Also the design looks like from 2007, it needs to be improved.

I gave you four stars because your software doesn't display true line colors, nor does it display the .PNG files that differentiate between one point shape file and another. Correct those two and you pretty much knocked this out of the park! Thank you!

One of the only apps that I found that will do the simple data collection I need, allow me to use offline maps, and not charge me an absurd amount. This app gets the job done better than most paid apps I've seen and has an easy to use UI. The only thing I would suggest is to allow users to input custom attribute fields for points.

This app is great, only feature missing (or I can't find it) is a way to lock the current map. Often when I am attempting to just use the map it thinks I am trying to alter a polygon or add a way point. Thanks for a great app.

Brilliant mapping app. This is the only app that I've found that allows you to place multiple KMZ polygons on a single map. The ability to download offline maps, but also switch between maps is brilliant. I can't fault this app at all.

When use downloaded offlinemap, zoom in fast the app will crash. And if set offlinemap storage dir to extSD, downloaded offlinemap won't store in extSD.

This is a great initiative no doubt. Thanks for that. But for a rookie the app may feel intimidating. So a detailed user guide is what I wish it came with. Hope I'm not being too demanding.
