Die "AlmTour-App" ist ein hilfreicher Wanderbegleiter für Reiter, Wanderer, Radfahrer und Langläufer. Der Urlaubsgast kann mittels der Applikation seinen eigenen Standort bestimmen. Auf der interaktiven Karte werden neben den Sehenswürdigkeiten auch Einkehr- und Schlafmöglichkeiten angezeigt. Neben der Karte ist auch der Pass mit der digitalen Stempelfunktion integriert. Nach abstempeln der Sehenswürdigkeiten kann der Urlaubsgast die Mühlviertler Alm- Nadel in Gold, Silber oder Bronze bei den Wirten auf der Mühlviertler Alm abholen.
Die Mühlviertler Alm ist ein wahres Wanderreit-Paradies. Langlaufen, Radfahren und Wandern gewinnen jetzt immer mehr an Bedeutung, da die sanfte Hügellandschaft der Mühlviertler Alm bestens geschaffen ist für diese Aktivitäten.
