MyMQTT for Android
Pretty basic, but works well. Would like to be able to save connections for more than one broker. I use this for simple testing of brokers only.
Broker never gets connected...requires extremely high speed internet
Seems stable an reliable. Would be nice to enable timestamps for messages.
Would have been 5 star if provision to subscribe with QOS selection would have been there
Would be even beter with tasker support
Show, simples e funcional!
Samsung galaxy S3. Seems to work intermittently. What I mean is it doesnt always seem to get all the messages and skips some etc. Also sometimes disconnects the server when adding new subscriptions. All in all, great but needs a polish :)
Works great, but it would be much better if it could keep the connection when it's closed (not just minimized), and provide new manual connect/disconnect button.
Very useful for quick tests. Looking forward to TLS and Tasker support if going in that direction. Perhaps store a few broker setups too. Keep up the good work!
Hey can u tell me if a multiplayer game sending very little information is possible or not? Can you share the codes? Can you give me some resource link?
I managed to install a broker on my RPi and get it talking to MYmqtt pretty easily. This client lacks QOS so couldn't demo that.
Just miss to have more brokers to choose from at the application start, please implement in next version
Great app to test my mqtt client, any way to publish a retained message?
Help me alot as SQA for SCADA apps with mqtt protocol
Would love an edit button or active or inactive or subscriptions/feeds
so easy for testing purpose
Yap does what it says
It functioned well and I like its design, but I was looking for (and still can't find) an Android app that will make the MQTT messages into active notifications in the Android notification bar.
It does it's job pretty well, it is simple and neat. The UI is not pretty, but is functional. I'll add some material design guidelines to be a better looking app.
I've tried all of the surprisingly short list of MQTT apps and this seems to be the only decent one. Unfortunately, its missing a number of basic features, such as setting QoS, retain, and the client ID, which should be fairly easy to implement. Also nice to have would be notifications, graphing and a material design interface.
Does what promised, reliably. Thanks a lot! I second request for enable/disable subscriptions and would like to have a rudimentary widget that would just show a text of last message!
Good for testing but crashes quite often.
Being new to all this IOT/MQTT stuff, this tool has been a constant support to test and understand many things. I have used it as a golden standard.
Help me alot as SQA for SCADA apps with mqtt protocol
Easy to use but needs ssl
Very useful. I would love it if there was an option to have the notifications broadcast as Android system notifications when the App isn't in the foreground. Maybe as an often per subscription.
Really helped developing for the IOT
Used with mosquito for simple sensor integration without any hiccups
Would be nice to set the retain flag when publishing messages.
Simple yet useful.
Simple but lacking extra features such as QoS or client id.
Would be even beter with tasker support
Waiting on Android notifications when app is no running or running in background. It would be great for monitoring a broker
Excellent compatibility with most of the MQTT servers as Mosquitto, HiveMQ etc.
Awesome useful application for IoT projects
Great app for mqtt
Great mqtt
Fabulous ♥♥♥
I would love to be able to use this in conjunction with Tasker to actually be able to send and react to MQTT messages in a useful way. Even just exposing intents would make this possible (although I think making it a plugin would be the way to go).

Installed.it. Opened it. Happily connected to a running mqtt broker. Closed it. Went to use it a couple of days later. It refused to connect to the broker that it already had connected to previously - using the setting setup previously. No useful messages to understand why it wasn't connecting. Other clients happily connected to same broker. Deleted the app as it wasn't MyMQTT client no more.
