R2Mail2 License for Android
Looks like it has been abandoned by its developers. The license cannot be activated and no responses from the developers. Perhaps Google should be thinking about removing this crapware from their market.
I purchased the app and license, installed on my Nexus 6P with Android 6.01, works great. But I have an other device, Nexus 5 with copperhead on it, no Google services and would like to install it there too, but how ?
Well worth the purchase, far superior to K9 and other competitors. Solid security, implementation of the key aspects to an android email app for the security conscious, and not to mention lovely UI
Keeps timing out during license check. Already deleted/clear cache/reinstalled, still the same behaviour. Meanwhile lost every email I had configured. Sent a email to the devs, no response.
Was previously using K-9 mail app but was horrified when I discovered (like many email apps) it stored my email passswords in plain text on phone. I was delighted to find r2mail2 encrypts my passwords (and downloaded email messages) via Android's keystore process. I use a master password to unlock my mail and can set how long I want my decrypted passwords cached in memory. I haven't even used this for sending / receiving encrypted mail yet and I love it already! (Just wish it was open source)
A smooth implementation of S/MIME; that alone makes it worth it. Exchange support and advanced security controls are the icing on the cake.
The R2 mail demo worked until I installed the license. Then suddenly my ssl server connections were bad and my personal keys disappeared. What a complete waste of my time.
As promised, purchased immediately when I noticed the UI had been updated. Best client I've used on android for secure emailing!
On Android that works with your EXISTING encryption keys! I've been looking for almost FIVE YEARS for a solution that works with my EXISTING PGP keys and FINALLY found it!
Is a nice application but change in account colour don't reflects in synchronized emails.
I was searching for a while to find an APP solving my encryption problem. I use PGP and SMIME with my compters but the link to my Android Tabled was still missing. The APP works very well and makes message encryption smooth. I run the APP on a Asus Transformer TF201 and it works without problems. I definitely will recommend this APP!
Nothing even comes close to this X509/PGP email client "A++". Very responsive developer. Add PGP public key lookups for unknown senders with an add to cert store option - add more email client features and polish - and I believe that most pop/imap email users (exchange not one of my needs) will need to go nowhere else for secure email exchange. Bought license to encourage future development - Good Luck! (EVO 4G MikG ROM/2.3.5)
It works with pgp and. Mime.

Why doesn't it cache the licence? "Checking licence" makes the user experience very bad.
