Speakers’ Corner

This app helps you to manage discussions with many contributors. It visualizes the list of waiting contributors, helps you to order it, and also works as a timer and stopwatch for each speaker, to ensure that the contributions are within the requested time.

Each person who wants to contribute to the discussion can be added to the list of the available contributors and can be added to the waiting list (see screenshot 3). Once a contributor is talking, you can see the elapsed time for each speaker in the top bar, as well as the overall time of the discussion. After each discussion contributor has finished, the next one is called automatically. If the contributor is surpassing the warning time (which you can set in the preferences), an acoustic signal can be heard and the background color changes (see screenshot 2).

In order to enable participation of many different speakers for the discussion, speakers who have contributed less are automatically moved up in the list (see screenshot 1, first yellow marking). You can disable this feature in the preferences.

You can see the table for the current discussion at the end ((see screenshot 4), showing a list of all contributors with information about their number of contributions and their total speaking time. You can share this list with SMS or with Email (as text or as CSV file) and order the columns by clicking on them.
