Die APP Rescall Ergo für Android, ab Version 2.1, ermöglicht bei einem Notfall die Übermittlung des eigenen Standortes mittels GPS-Koordinaten an eine beauftragte Leitstelle. Gleichzeitig wird mit der beauftragten Leitstelle eine Telefonverbindung hergestellt. Die Leitstelle organisiert in der Folge die Erste Hilfe.
In der Situation eines Unfalles spielt der schnellstmögliche Einsatz der ersten Hilfe eine große Rolle. Die genaue Lokalisierung des Unfallortes, die Erstinformation über die Art des Unfalles und die Anzahl der Verletzten liefern der ersten Hilfe vorerst die wichtigsten Daten. Diese können durch das APP mittels GPS und Telefonverbindung übermittelt werden.
Sind GPS-Koordinaten vorhanden, werden die Standortkoordinaten übertragen und eine Telefonverbindung mit der Leitstelle hergestellt.
Wenn es nicht möglich ist die Koordinaten zu übermitteln, wird eine Telefonverbindung mit der Leitstelle hergestellt.
