About stop&go Road Safety App
“stop&go” is a free multilingual road safety app that provides road users with detailed information on the rules of the road in Austria. Learn about the most important traffic regulations, road signs and first aid from the perspective of pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, moped riders and motorists. Additional interactive features include a traffic quiz and a road sign scanner. A web version of the app (for use on tablet or PC) is available at http://www.stopandgo-app.at

The app is available is English, German, French, Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Farsi, Bosnian and Turkish. The app’s language can be changed at any time in the menu.

TRAFFIC SIGN SCANNER
This image recognition tool is the ideal learning aid for inquisitive road users. Simply stand in front of a traffic sign, scan it and the app will tell you what it means.
QUIZ
Image and text questions allow you to consolidate what you learned in the TRAFFIC KNOWLEDGE, TRAFFIC SIGNS and FIRST AID sections. There are 20 questions to answer per game. The questions are selected at random, so you can repeat the game as often as you like.
EMERGENCY CALL FUNCTION
The emergency call function connects you directly with the Euro emergency line, police, fire service or ambulance. The location detection feature helps to determine your exact location.

All data used by this app is subject to the applicable provisions of the Austrian Data Protection Act.
This app uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. (“Google”) web analysis service for statistical purposes. A code has been added to this feature that guarantees IP addresses are collected anonymously.
Provided the user has enabled and allowed access to GPS, location data is only used by the GPS function of the mobile device and sent to the user as part of this app (emergency function). It does not store location data.
The ID stored for the push-message service is assigned by Google Cloud Messaging Service in order to send these messages via push notification. There is no possible connection to the user as a result.
