About RxDroid

RxDroid is a simple medication reminder app. Apart from reminding you to take your meds, it will also keep track of your pill count, warning you to get a refill in time.

This app is free and open source, contains no ads, and requires only very limited permissions.

I'm a medical student and this app is a hobby of mine, so development can be slow at times!

Reliable app that has many features that allow for a variety of medications and frequencies. Been using it for over a year now and haven't had any issues. Also recommended it to my sister.

The app is simple and reliable. It'll bug you until you take your meds, no snoozes. I love it!

N70%

You have no way to set schedule as every 4, 6, etc hours, so your app doesn't work for me. Fix that and I'll recommend your app to everyone. Uninstalling now.

The best app I have found for keeping track of when (or if) I have taken my medications. It is simple to use, it is a small-sized download compared to some, and it doesn't need a lot of permissions. I tried several others and uninstalled them for a variety of reasons. This one I kept. If you don't need a comprehensive life-style/health app and just want a medication tracker with reminders, I would definitely recommend this one.

Pretty reliable and helpful for all my medication needs. And it's app permissions have been respectful. Love it. Used it for years and have discarded all other med apps and solely using this one now.

Wonderful for us ADHD types. One request: can you add a "medication vacation" feature? If not, can I fork this and add it? There's no rush, it's nearly perfect as it is. Thanks for your great work!

This is a great and simple app. No distracting graphics, no ad spamming and a sleek interface. Also, the fact that it doesn't need 100 permissions makes this app truly awesome.

This is the perfect app for tracking you medication. It's simple to use and more. Reminds you when to take your med and when to reorder. I've been using this for the last 5-7 years. I've tried others but too cumbersome.

I tried several medication managers, and I love this app, it's exactly what I need. Just one thing: How do I import my database backup on a new phone?

Does what it says. I use such to keep track of meds taken, did I or did I not? Five minutes or more later, when busy with work. And to know when a refill is due. Pharmacy hates me when I'm right, and I always am with this program. … Yes, it has it's minor faults, every program does. That's natures way of adding a bit of a personality in the mix. Live with it!

I tried to do a restore from a backup and nothing shows up on the screen its all blank don't know what to do and plus I have no idea I do have the list of my medications, I did the online backup any help would be much appreciated thank you. PS. I have no desire to rape count almost a thousand pills and reimput so please help, I like the program too much too have to trash it. If it matters I'm using a ZTE quarts phone ( a piece of junk)

I agree with candy m. I used to be able to mark doses as taken from my pulldown notification menu (Samsung android). Now I have to open the app to mark meds as taken. It is fixed now thank you!!! Best app. :)

The features u need without the code bloat all the others have. Looks more like a real code cutter's work, rather than a med student's. You just need to keep it simple. The biggest killer of IT projects is 'scope creep'

This seems to be a nice app that does what it should. I do have a problem where the refill reminder pops up multiple times a day, even after I've postponed it to the next day.

Still very useful, but the author should be more aware not to add features just for the sake of more features :-/

I take meds 3-4 times per day, 1-2 per dose, to keep me awake during the day. If I forget a dose, I may not even realize it until I wake up with my keyboard imprinted on my face. Even better, my controlled medication can only be filled ON the day I RUN OUT. This app is great for reminding me to take my meds, keeping track of how many I take, and letting me know when it's time to refill. And the fact that it doesn't require any creepy permissions makes it pretty much perfect!

X70%

Reminders work beautifully and much-less intrusively compared to other rival apps. It's perfect. I hope to see this app grow with established features that are found in other apps, to ease the transition from others to this app -- as it definitely has the slickest interface and best functionality. Please keep developing :D

I hoped to find something better than Dosecast, but this app is to hard to figure out much less use.

I take a variety of drugs that are on completely different schedules. This program forces you into four general time frames. I need to have the flexibility to pick different schedules for each medication.

It's great when apps have no permissions.

RxDroid is an excellent and easy to use medicine tracking app that I recommend for most people. Unfortunately for me, it no longer fits my requirements. I take 27 medicines in 45 doses split up in 6 dose schedules. There is no way for me to get around this any longer. RxDroid only allows 4 daily schedule doses which no longer meets my complex requirements.
