Outliner Pro Key

Been using this for several years. It was my crossover from Bonsai. The improvements keep getting better all the time. Its a great way to manage several lists of information.

Best outliner app. Excellent export features, Google task sync, and even ability to edit files on the desktop with an old Bonsai program.

i can't believe i spent five dollars on this. it keeps messing up the order of my lists when i sync! i want my money back!

Google Tasks syncing is a great new feature. Having lists available and synced on all devices including desktop is great.

The Best Outliner for Android!

Of all the outliners I've tried out, this is the most straight forward and user friendly. I use it for several purposes, but mostly to keep a database of quotes I value. For this use, the due date is not needed - any way to turn it off? Thanks for a great app, and keep up the good work!

Easy to use outliner. Simple, straight forward design. No adds for the free version. I especially like the import, export, and sync to dropbox features. And technical support was quick and helpful.

No problems so far.

The only game in town for Android outliners, and a good candidate for "most powerful mobile outliner" period. It imports and exports all the major outline formats, syncs with the major services, and works across a lot of devices. The interface is thoughtfully designed (if a bit "chunky"-looking in its bullet icons) and works really well. Most importantly the developer support is amazing--I had a problem due to my own unusual Android device (not the software), wrote to the dev, and within a few days he sent me a fix. WOW!

I am not able to open Treepad paid version files in outliner. Any idea why .tpd files are not opening in out liner.

Worth to buy,, one time purchase for lifetime updates,, am I right??

This is a good basic outliner that can sync with the basic free edition of Treepad. The only thing I would like to see at this point is the ability to select an individual tree node, or subtree node and export just that item to HTML. From what I can tell, you can only export the entire outline which isn't great if you just want to share a particular note. I purchased the Pro key as well.

Wishing for widgets.

In order to use external SD in Android 5.1.1, the app must prompt the user for external SD access. How do I get Outliner to initiates the request?

For years I have been searching for an Android outliner that would work with plain text files. I use vimoutliner on the desktop and, until now, haven't found an Android folding outliner that could work with plain text files. I wish syncing was automatic. I have to export/import between to a text file then run unison to sync with the otl file. Also, I wish this software handled check boxes like vimoutliner. Outliner doesn't provide seemless automatic syncing, but at least it works for me.

Got the pro key, mostly to support the developer as I've used his app for all of my organizing needs. I've tried & paid for a few others, but I've always gone back to the free version of this. I like the added perks of the pro key. Especially 'delete all' & creating a shortcut for individual lists. Holding out for a widget, compatibility with Google, & calendar integration. Fritz! Make a calendar app! Edit: also the ability to have timed reminders would be great.

TreePad It's Not

This outliner combines ease of use and good functionality with a well presented user interface. The free version has no ads so it's worth checking out first but I recommend the Pro version for the extra features and to support the developer. The HTML export is useful for tree printing as it lends itself to easy formatting using CSS, and the backup system is good for keeping your data safe.

This outlining app is perfect for my needs. It allows me to maintain a fairly complex outline on my Android device but then work with the same outline on my Mac using OmniOutliner. Syncing is done using the built-in Dropbox support. Like others have mentioned, the technical support is also excellent. The tutorial file is great but I had a question about importing OPML files. I emailed the developer and got a response right away with everything I needed to know to make it work.

This is a nice feature-rich outliner which still manages not to be overly cluttered. Developer is very responsive and helpful too! I had a problem transferring files from old to new tablet and he pointed me in the right direction well within 24 hours. Very happy to have purchased the Pro upgrade to support his work.

This was a replacement for ListPro (Ilium) that isn't available for Android. It has much better search features, and a nice layout. I had a problem with something at first, and Alfred was quick to figure it out and sent an update. Very reliable, auto backups, imported my lists from ListPro well.

After buying a Pro version I contacted the developer about few issues I had with a few pro features in and they provided a solution really fast! Now I am a very satisfied customer and I hope this product will grow even further. Great product and great support!

I've been using outliner for almost two years ever since Mr. Fritz was kind enough to send me a copy back when I didn't have access to Android market. This has been my go-to outliner, and I've created some huge outlines with it. Now with Dropbox sync which works well, it's still the best outliner for Android and well worth the price.

Purchased the Pro Key so I could sync via Dropbox and desktop edit OPML files using Tree Outliner for Mac. Despite Tree outputting opml v.1.0 and Outliner outputting v.2.0 - everything syncs up and edits smoothly. I do lose some of the 2.0 features of Outliner when it's pulled into Tree and then pulled back in to Outliner on my phone (check lists, due dates and percentage done), but that's the Tree software and I don't really need those for my outlining needs. I had one other issue that appears to be entirely a Dropbox bug in the latest version. Still, despite my unorthadox sync-use-case and DropBox's bug - Freddy offered outstanding, speedy support that quickly got me to the bottom of everything and all worked out! Couldn't be happier.

Getting a list configured is a bit arduous, but once it's set up, using a list is easy and intuitive. If you're a Windows user, Natara's Bonsai is still a solid outliner even though it's not been updated in 4 years - and Alfred's software here seamlessly syncs to Bonsai's format. Non-proprietary sync is AWESOME; coupled with FolderSync and a WebDAV service like OwnCloud, this software lets me take my lists anywhere! This is 5-star software hampered by somewhat convoluted tools; highly recommended!

Wow excellent app, a must for everyone trying to keep track. At first I miss understood this app but once I got it I would recommend 100%... I using samsung tab 2 10"

Waited a couple of years(!) for this pro version. Glad to be able to backup (without Titanium) onto sd card and onto Dropbox. I use it because I prefer the interface to all the other outliners available. Ability to make launcher to an outline very useful. A lower price may have brought in more money to the developer over time.

I needed a replacement for ListPro that I used on my old Windows Mobile phone that would allow me to manage outlines on my PC and Nexus 4. Outliner and TreePad do this. I only required a basic outliner capability and this combination does it. It did take a bit of reading of the Tutorial and the developer's web site to sort out how to use it but it was worth it. I use SyncMe Wireless to keep the files sync'd between my PC and Nexus 4. The only issue is that any outlines have to be created on the Android

Perfect outlining app and fantastic support by Freddy

It's interface is nice and clean. Relatively easy to use without much learning curve. Pro version added some features but maybe not many people need them. After using the pro version for sometime, I find it very useful, specifically the option to copy/paste a subtree. The developer is open to suggestion and very responsive in accommodating the need of customer. Very recommended app!
