About Mopidy Mobile
Mopidy Mobile is a simple, easy to use remote that lets you fully control a Mopidy music server from your mobile device.
Mopidy is an extensible music server for Linux and OS X that lets you play music from your local disk, Spotify, SoundCloud, Google Play Music, and more. For further information, see http://mopidy.com.
In a nutshell, Mopidy Mobile lets you
- browse and search your entire Mopidy music library.
- search within selected directories only.
- edit the tracks in the current tracklist.
- create and edit playlists (requires Mopidy server v1.x).
- retrieve cover art from selected online resources.
- control playback from your device's lock screen.
- change volume using your device's hardware buttons.
- switch between multiple Mopidy servers on your network.
- choose from multiple available user interface languages.

Great app. The only feature I'm missing is the ability to search and then add an entire record to the playlist, with the tracks ordered not alphabetically but in the record's sequence. Scrolling through my collection takes too long without "jumping" by way of searches.

I have pimusicbox installed on my Raspberry pi, but it's Web interface has some missing elements, like local playlists. This app seems (after a few hours of experimenting) to really fit the bill!

Is there a way to search youtube over this app? There are so many apps and i think this one is the best by far, but it does apparently not let you search youtube, like e.g. mpdroid does :( am i right?

Best mopidy app I've found. Worked out of the box with more features than similar apps. The UI is, for the most part, sufficient. One issue I had was with the in-directory searching. I couldn't find the input field to enter my query for bit. Would suggest this over Remotedy. Edit: My suggested changes have already been implemented. Very Awesome!

From the ui to the usability, it's by far the best mopidy client. Just a suggestion, can there be an option for choosing and automatically connect to a default server? Also can there be a page to directly play a url?
