Perfect for syncing contacts, calendars, and tasks lists with self-hosted cloud solutions like Nextcloud.

Works great. Haven't had issues in several weeks since I'm using it.

Very good app. Working well after some permission issues, androids fault. Would be nice of I could set the timer to less than 15 minutes... Say 5? I need to keep multiple devices in reasonable sync.

Does what I need it to do, and is solid doing it. Plays nice with my personal CalDAV server using SSL.

Spent hours trying to connect with Nextcloud; Nextcloud app works perfectly fine, DAVdroid can't connect at all.

Thank you, I have integrated my personal calDav on my server. Only 1 problem, with Business Calendar not sync new events, I must resync in manual mode, despite having setup resync every 15 minutes.

DAVDroid has replaced Caldav- and Carddav Sync on most of my devices (over the last year) and things are working flawlessly against my OwnCloud server.

The best. ???? Continued support from the developer in bug fixes/enhancements. I recently installed SOgo groupware on my personal server - DAVdroid works beautifully. No more google, all my email, contacts, calendars now under my control on my domain. ???? This indispensable functionality should be part of Android itself. Shameful that google continues to ignore the need. Very thankful that Bitfire came to our rescue...

Best Cal and CardAV Sync App with instant support

Well I can't put this thing to work in my phone. I use nextcloud and have a Xiaomi redmi note 4x. I put something in contacts and in calendar of the phone and nothing appears in the nextcloud contact and callendar apps. Is it my problem? Maybe I need help

It simply works. Using it with ownCloud and NextCloud, syncs reliably and well. The latest version detects ical subscriptions within NextCloud too, which is a definite plus. It hands them off instead of syncing them itself, but that's acceptable for me.

All my accounts on DAVdroid keep removing after device reboot. It's running on a GIONEE M5 Mini phone running Android 6. I can't install the JB workaround as it's incompatible with any of my devices.

Does exactly what it says, and does so seamlessly. This is the app to get if you need CalDAV / CardDAV syncing.

Using this to sync my iCloud calendar/contacts. Super simple and well worth the asking price.

I repeatedly lost calendar changes. But this may be coming from the dav provider. Otherwise great app and support. A great addition would also be to be able to map contact fields. The default it shows, phonetic etc. is not working and confusing. I ended up with unsaved new contacts or "null null" entries.

Ich habe DAVdroid nun auf 3 verschiedenen Handys (Ulefone Power - Android 4), Wiko Ridge, Android 5) und Xiaomi Redmi 4X, Android 6 - jeweils aktuelle Version und diversen Nextcloud-Versionen auf meinem Server ausprobiert. Kontakte-Sync funktioniert, Kalender-Sync zu keinem Zeitpunkt. Ich kenne mich mit der Materie sehr gut aus und kann hier nur vom Kauf abraten. Die Caldav/Carddav-Alternativen von dmfs funktionierten bei all den o.g. Setups seltsamerweise IMMER!

This app does one thing and does it very well. The only gripe I have is that it has an icon that takes up screen real estate in the app drawer. It needs an option to hide the icon just like all of Google’s keyboard apps. I’m not willing to replace my stock launcher which has worked very well.

It syncs brilliantly with Owncloud as well as Mdaemon calendars and contacts. Very easy to setup and once setup it just works flawlessly. I have a possible solution to the problems some people have where they cannot connect to server as I had this exact issue. Close the program down completely and re-enter the data making sure that you have the path 100% correct. This fixed my issues where I had corrected typos and yet still could not connect to server. I think that you have to close davdroid down and re-open and ensure path, username and password is 100% accurate before clicking login.

Doesn't work. Got it all set up with my nextcloud server and it doesn't do anything.

Can't find a server

Having issues where it causes my calendar to show 10 copies of the same event. I think it's DavDroid that does that, not sure what else it would be...

Brilliant - one of those "it just works" you can "set and forget" utilities.

Been using it for months to sync contacts and calenders with Runbox. Never had an issue.

Required some extra effort to properly run on MIUI 7 and 8 (Redmi note 3) and Synology DSM 6.1.1. But after that works smoothly as expected.

Love it, better than caldav-sync and carddav-sync

CardDAV/CalDAV sync can be a huge pain in the backside, but this app makes this stuff a breeze. Worth every cent.

Doesn't work with Xiaomi MI5 and Nextcloud - when syncing, Davdroid doesn't send queries to Nextcloud server at all

It does not sync on Miui 8.2.x.x. Tested on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x
