taxi.eu – Taxi App for Europe

The app navigation system is horrible and the process is not wired to take that into account. Ordered a cab twice from an unfamiliar place: both times the cab driver checked in as if arrived, was nowhere to be found. It was impossible to cancel the cab at that point through the app. No way to contact the driver of the cab directly either. The taxy call center was clearly mocking me for being out in the cold and needing their service delivered as promised. The instructions were unclear: I informed the operator that I was unfamiliar with the area and that I was standing at the exact point where I placed the booking. Neither he nor the app notified me that the app navigation system might show the wrong address and I should have first checked and confirmed the exact address.

Ordered a taxi for 5 people and a four person taxi turned up and he blamed us for not booking properly. We used the app. Also the app has no obvious cancellation feature.

One big peace of junk. Believe me Horrible is a understatement. They charged me almost twice the amount they quoted on the app and there was no traffic. It's unethical. Or stealing. This Taxi.eu group they are so arrogant they don't have the simple decency to respond to anybody who complained just simply ignore you. See for yourself

Made all the difference to our trip to Munich. Being able to get a cab without speaking German was great. You could track where your cab was and get an idea of cost. Loved it.

Reliable most of the time. Some glitches send the incorrect location to the driver on more than one occasion. Reasonably consistent

The app is in accurate about the waiting time for taxi. While it says that you can get a taxi in 5 minutes, in reality you get offered a taxi in much longer time.

This App is not particularly user-friendly...I cannot figure out how to make a reservation for a future pick-up. :-(

Doesn't pass the destination address to the driver. My grandfather just got charged double after the taxi got lost, despite me providing the address in the app.

Horrible app, doesn't have login capabilities, only new signups. Unsecure, especially with regards to payments!

Works good, driver showed up on time, drived safe. But maybe the price was a bit high. Still would use it next time!

Lack of information. Cab number should be there.

The app works fine but is a huge drain on battery life.

The driver didn't follow the route suggested by the app. The route chosen by the driver is two times longer! I didn't find the opention to make an complain or rate this driver in this app.

I like the app very much and have used it a couple of times in different countries but for some reason every time I have used the app it seems that the taxi is directed to a different pick up location. Normally about 200 to 300 meters away from the actual pick up point or pick up address. Maybe it is a out dated Satnav system. I will still keep on using the app because it is easy and simple. Thanks.

I have totally no clue what's going on. So the driver confirm the pickup? And error message in German.

This is the single worst app I have encountered. Cannot locate the address I was at. The UI is horrible on all levels.

Worked for me, but it seems the user interface was not updated since Android 2.

Was needing a taxi in Köln but not sure where to get it nor a point of reference to give. Just downloaded the app and ordered a taxi by giving my gps coordinates, all through the app without needing to speak to anyone. The waiting time was very precise and I could follow the taxi approaching live at the map. Just the driver ended up stopping a bit farther than the designated spot, maybe he was still adjusting to the technology? Friendly driver nevertheless.

Used it a few times in Munich without troubles. Did not pay through the app though, so I cannot evaluate those features. I believe it connects with IsarFunk in this city.

I have used this now on numerous trips to Stuttgart and being able to specify a taxi that takes credit card is a great feature. I have used it for pre bookings to take me to the airport and ad hoc from Street corners after a few beers with my German team and I have never been let down.
