About Smart Announcer
Smart Announcer provides hands-free option for Incoming calls, Sms and notifications for Android platform.
It acquires data from saved contact list and announces all incoming calls depending on the option selected.
Same feature can be extended over to Incoming SMS messages which can also be announced or Read.

I have tried several similar speaking / announcing apps but for 100% functionality and reliability, this is the BEST by far. So much so that I want to purchase a license to remove those annoying adverts

I have S8 plus and after some tweaking between this Smart Announcer app and my SMS app, Handcent Next SMS, it has worked like a charm. Sometimes the best thing to do when you get FRUSTRATED, is to reboot one or both apps and even though that can suck, eventually you will get the app to do what you want.

it will only read up to 7 letters from the notifications content. for example: it will read "hi there" but anything longer than that and it will not read the content at all. testing with Kik notification Content.
