It's basically a UV light that detects proteins so to that person who rated it 1 without trying it this unbiased customer says it worked I was curious as what I say. Was blood or not but it was very little on the napkin and sure enough where I thought was blood in the dark this you'll be late picked up proteins so for free it worked it helps to turn up your brightness

I downloaded this app simply to rate it. Blood does not fluoresce under UV, it will absorb, I.e. go black. There are many other things that will fluoresce under the right wavelength, such as semen. Also, the light on mobile devices will not emit true uv, so would be entirely useless for this function. Install this app for mild amusement, it will be useless for anything else.

To perform a presumptive blood test, flourocein is needed to react with blood,then illuminate the surface with an alternative light source at the wavelength of 450nm preferably , which I don't think what a cell phone app can do

It did nothing at all, just a plain blue screen with one setting to brighten the blue did not show anything, no different even over blood... It totally is awful don't get this app

Its a useless blue screen and.. doesnt detect anythin, i know specific spots in my house where blood has been nd i shined it on them and nothing came up, if you like blue screens then get the blue screen otherwise this app is a lie and it sucks bro
