Pieter de la Court used the fourth edition of the Politike Weeghschaal for a a fifth edition that never appeared. The website disclosed by this app factually offers this edition. Not diplomatically, but with explanation of almost all the classical Latin citations in the text and of solution of references to modern sources, among which Jacob Cats and Niccolo Machiavelli are the most important.

The research published here is the result of a project of the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam never published elsewhere.
