Ademar Ferreira Gonçalves nasceu em 23 de fevereiro de 1963, as margens do Rio Assacu, em Abaetetuba, estado do Pará. É filho de Maria Luiza Ferreira Rocha e Avelino Marques Gonçalves. É o quarto de sete irmãos. Por ser família de ribeirinho, Começou a trabalhar ainda criança ajudando a Mãe na colheita de açaí e depois na olaria do pai, como carregador de tijolos.

Aos 15 anos mudou-se com toda sua família para o bairro do Guamá em Belém com intuito de estudar e conseguiu concluir o segundo grau, hoje ensino Médio. Com 16 anos foi trabalhar num supermercado como embalador, onde muito aprendeu e ali pela primeira vez passou a receber remuneração pelo trabalho que desempenhava.

Aos 18 anos foi chamado para o Exército, o que lhe proporcionou muita alegria, pois era algo que muito queria. Pelo esforço e desempenho logo subiu de patente se tornando Cabo. Após dois anos servindo em Belém foi transferido para a cidade de Itaituba-PA. Esse era um período em que o Brasil sofria com a repressão da ditadura, o que refletia diretamente na conduta dos militares que muito mais que hoje eram cobrados na conduta e apoio à segurança do país, devido as revoltas sociais do período.

Tempos difíceis foram os que esse bravo cidadão brasileiro, passou em uma cadeira de rodas, vítima de uma doença na coluna vertebral, submeteu-se por inúmeras cirurgias, chegando a ser diagnosticado pelos médicos que jamais voltaria a andar. A família foi fundamental no processo de superação dessa fase difícil, que com a graça de Deus, a ajuda dos parentes e amigos e sua imensa força de vontade foi superada.

Após sua recuperação parcial, a qual permitia o desempenho de atividades na medida de suas limitações, passou a trabalhar como taxista, fazendo pontos em supermercados, restaurantes e casas noturnas. Também nesse período montou uma empresa de revenda de pescado, mas logo se desfez. Nesse período conheceu sua atual companheira, e após alguns anos de convivência tiveram dois filhos, Carlos Sandro Gonçalves de 9 anos e Ana Clara Gonçalves de 8 anos. Tem ainda mais dois filhos de relacionamentos anteriores, Andreza Gonçalves e Ademar Gonçalves Junior.

Aos 35 anos passou a trabalhar como gerente da aparelhagem sonora Pop Som, onde fez vários contatos no ramo do entretenimento e aprendeu a promover eventos em casas noturnas. Se identificou com as festas de aparelhagens e logo se destacou neste ramo. Sempre brigou pelo movimento e lutou pela desmistificação das festas desses aparelhos sonoros.

Ademar Gonçalves se fortaleceu com a união de mais dois sócios que juntos criaram a A3 eventos, mudando a imagem das festas noturnas, alcançando um publico que até então viam as aparelhagens com preconceito. Seu esforço e luta ajudou também a divulgação nacional desses eventos que só era visto em Belém do Pará.

Sempre trabalhou com ética. Honrando seus compromissos com o movimento, e foi além, criou a associação das aparelhagens APASepa, para fortalecer esse grupo que há muito é marginalizado.

Paralelamente aos seus trabalhos profissionais, também sempre ajudou pessoas que vinham ao seu encontro em busca de apoio. Fez eventos que cobrava entrada em forma de alimentos para depois distribuir para comunidades carentes.

Ademar Ferreira Gonçalves, de origem humilde, superou diversas dificuldades ao longo da vida, hoje enfrenta mais um desafio: A política.

After his partial recovery, which allowed for the performance of activities as their limitations, he worked as a taxi driver, making points in supermarkets, restaurants and nightclubs. During this period he met his current partner, and after a few years together they had two sons, Carlos Gonçalves Sandro 9 years and Ana Clara Gonçalves 8 years. Has two further children from previous relationships, Andreza Gonçalves and Gonçalves Ademar Junior.

At age 35 went to work as manager of Pop Sound stereo system, which made several contacts in the entertainment business and learned to promote events in nightclubs.
