Med Term Flip - Word Parts for Android
I'm going through the category Human body and it is giving me suffixes(& some prefixes) as combining forms. One example is they gave me tom/o & when I flipped the card it said "to cut". -tomy means to cut, or surgical incision. Another example is crin/o. They did also have -crine, but crin/o should be a prefix crin-. It is dis-, not dist/o... etc, etc...
Very very helpful and very easy to use! It has a glitch : program is freezing sometimes, especially when I am closing the phone without the exiting of the program first and then trying to come back to it. I had to restart the phone for a few times. Other than that I love it.
I would have preferred it broken down into roots, suffix, prefix... But it is a great study help. It even saves where you are when you exit the app.
Very easy to use and access on the go! Helps a lot with memorization as it provides the definition and examples! You could also review easily as you may choose to repeat the words that you missed! Great app!!! Keep it up!
The organization and content make this app a useful refresher for reinforcement or as an initial learning. Easy way to save $ on a course
