Sparki Bluetooth Controller

Control the ArcBotics Sparki Robot using your Tablet over Bluetooth with Touch or Voice!

This application was created as a father/son project to fuel my son's education and love of technology & robots! We are not in any way affiliated with ArcBotics, neither are we responsible for any damage done to your robot by this app.

The controller app aims to demonstrate the full functionality of the Sparki robot and exercises nearly all built-in functions including:

* Control functions: Stepper motors/wheels, LCD, RGB LED, Servo, Gripper, and Buzzer

* Sensor functions: Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Ultrasonic Range Finder, Infrared Reflectance Sensors, and Light Sensors

You can make Sparki move in any horizontal direction and command him to pick up objects with his gripper. He can even report distance measurements from objects that are in his forward or left/right field of vision with his ultrasonic range finder and servo. All measurements from his various sensors can be displayed on the controller screen in (near) real time!

** You can also use the voice recognition capabilities of your tablet to give Sparki voice commands! **

Requires the ArcBotics Sparki Robot (with Bluetooth module) and a large format screen device (optimized for 7” tablets).

ATTENTION HOBBYISTS: This application was written for educational purposes. It includes full source code for both the controller app (MIT App Inventor) and the SparkiDuino code that runs on the Sparki robot.
