Parents Are Here for Conferenc

Many times at schools (k-12), parent-teacher-student conferences are scheduled in the mornings. The teachers will typically be in their classrooms waiting for some announcement that the conference should begin. Sometimes, the teachers might go to the scheduled classroom and the parents did not show up. This app was developed to help solve that problem.

In most schools, the scheduled parent conferences are done by a Team Leader. This app is for the Team Leader and it allows the Team Leader to place the cell numbers of all the teachers on his/her team. When the parent arrives, the Team Leader will simply text the teachers on his/her team to let them know that the parents have arrived.

Sometimes, some teachers might already be present at the meeting while others are not. While the conference is going on, the Team Leader can send the text to remind those teachers not present.

If a teacher cannot attend the conference, the teacher can then respond to the Team Leader by answering the text.

This should help to reduce the possibility of teachers gathering in a room, waiting for parents that do not show up.
