Photoelectric Effect

With this simple and funny application you can study the Photoelectric Effect. Starting from the wavelength of incident light, you can obtain the frequency and energy of the incident photons, threshold frequency and wavelength for various metals such as sodium, potassium, calcium among others.

The application determines whether photoelectric effect occurs, and if so, the values of the kinetic energy of the emitted electrons and the speed reached are shown.

Relativistic limits are also considered and can be calculated energy and speed consistent with Special Relativity of Albert Einstein.
