About MJRoBot Arduino Arm Robot Ctrl

This is an app designed to be used with a Servo arm robot, up to 4DOF. Can be used with meArm Arm robot or any robot operated with PWM commands (0-255). The app, besides the 4 sliders for PWM Servo control, also has incorporated control buttons for programing and running a repetitive task (to be used with an Arduino code).
The mais commands output text string are:
Slider for Base Control: "b/ 0-255"
Slider for Gripper Control: "g/ 0-255"
Slider for Elbow Control: "e/ 0-255"
Slider for Shoulder Control: "s/ 0-255"

Run button: "runon"
Program button: "pgmon"
Reset button: "rston"
Alarm button: "Alarm_ON"
Local/Remote button: "remote"

The app is inicitae with command in mode "local"
There is logic between Alarm and Local/Remote button. If used, the app understand as a "reset" for remote programing and the label and variables are properly set.

When you connect 4 servos to any arduino, application doesn't respond much when you scroll the angle line. It responds after 10-12 attempts. After that it works good. But yeah this issue comes every time you scroll the line. You need to improve it.

Very cool app Using it to control a 4DOF thingiverse thing:65081 on an uno w/a nano io shield in bt remote mode.No local control. How do I start the .ino in remote mode???

I started many weeks ago by buying a MeArm robot arm and controlling it via radio control. I found MJRoBot on Instructables and the associated Arduino based control system using potentiometers and Android. As a learner I was very quickly drawn into the programming side and can see potential for this in my main hobby of model boats. This Android app is now on my new tablet and smart phone [both new to me] and I now have direct control on my robot arm via several mechanisms. The author of this app was very patient and offered great support along the way as I mastered and understood the various functions he had put in. He is very approachable and understanding. I am awarding maximum stars for his work and his android app, the screen display is really clever too. At my age, it has given me so much satisfaction to not only complete the control system, but it is providing potential elsewhere too.
