About Adverse Drug ReactionSeverity
An adverse drug reaction (ADR) is an appreciably harmful or unpleasant reaction, resulting from an intervention related to the use of a medicinal product, which predicts hazard from future administration and warrants prevention or specific treatment, or alteration of the dosage regimen, or withdrawal of the product (Edwards and Aronson, 2000).
This app was designed to assist medical professionals to assess the severity of ADRs experienced by their patients. This app uses a method developed by Hartwig et al. (1992). It helps medical professionals to determine how severe is the ADR suffered by their patient.
This app does not collect any information. Any suspected ADR should be reported to the relevant monitoring agency.
