Space-A is short for "Space-Available" air transportation on government owned or controlled aircraft. When mission and cargo loads allow, there are often seats made available to eligible passengers. With a little patience and flexibility, you can travel all over the world for almost nothing. Active-duty service members, retirees, certain Department of Defense (DoD) employees, and their eligible family members as well as Guard and Reserve members (with restrictions) are eligible to travel Space-A. This app is a must have for the Military Space-A traveler. It gives you very fast access to the top 50 Space-A locations and the current 72 hour flight listings. Each location has key phone numbers as well as details of on and off base food, lodging, and local info.
