About IV Drips

*** IV Drips has been chosen as Indispensable Tech Tool for Nurses by LVNtoRN.net! ***

IV Drips is a great tool in the Emergency and Critical Care settings. This medical app contains 44 of the most common used critical drips for quick reference at your finger tips. It also includes calculators to give you either mL/hr or dose/hr. With each drug you will quickly be able to see its class, indications, and what side effects to watch out for. IV Drips also gives you the standard infusion rates for each medication. Each drug comes pre-programmed in their standard concentration for quick calculation. There is also a Customize feature which allows you to change the infusion rates and drug concentrations according to your facility’s policy.

Just plug in your concentration and pt weight if needed and it automatically calculates you rate. We have smart pumps that do that but you know you should always have a second calculation to double check. It sure beats figuring out the k factor!

U70%
by U####:

I live and work in a very rural area in Texas. Out iv pumps are very old, and don't calculate conversations for us this app is the cheapest one I bought in searching for dopamine and other drugs we use infrequently enough that it's hard to remember the equations.

I like the fact that this app allows you to add your own drug and even edit your current drug database. It is superb.

And the new look is pretty nice. But it's a bit annoying that I have to open the drug and press the menu to get to the calculator. IMHO it's a unnecessary step. I'd like to have that button under the drug description. Possible?
