"Speechland House" is a guaranted application, to provide a safe engaging and nuturing enviroment in which every child will develop confidence in their emerging abilities on auditory discrimination awareness of everyday enviromental around home sounds. The most basic level of auditory discrimination, is widely accepted the ability to indentify close linked enviromental sounds eg. the difference between the sound of a fan and a refrigerator. Auditory activities can be a fun and easy way to keep children active while developing important abilities that will support their reading skills. So "Speechland House" invite children to show you how good they are at listening and naming items around home.

Also "Speechland House" is been used by professional speech therapists during speech therapy sessions as it helps children with communicaiton disorders, voice disorders etc. This application is concerned with a broad scope of speech, language and voice issues involving communication some of which are: communication difficulties, difficulties creating sentences that are grammatical and meanigful, coglitive impairments (memory, aattention, etc).

How does it work? Simple, even a baby can do it! We just press the images and listen the sounds. We have also forecast two special buttons in each internal screen the red and the blue button. The red button is the back button and it gives you the ability to go back to the main screen. The blue button has a dual use. When we press it, it closes the app and the second use is when, for any reason, the app cannot upload some sounds, it restarts the app.

This application has also been used succesfully with young children diagnosed with ADHD, autism, language and speech problems and with any child that finds it difficult to discriminate sounds.It creates an ideal enviroment for the speech language pathologist to work with, during the speech therapy session.

So this app is made for children to help them discover and learn the names and pictures using interactive flash cards. It contains 110 sounds and 120 pictures. This app specifically does not overload children and parents with too many audio and visual stimuli. Coping with stress and over-stimulation is therefore one skill that your kids won't be practicing during this activity. It’s clear focus, makes the app a delight for children and a winning choice for parents.

Technical features:

One of the advantage is the fact that the application has low capacity since all the sounds are stored in external resources. So if you are off line you are able to play only with the images and when connected (Wifi,3G,4G etc) you can have both photos and sounds.
