About Festival Radar
Festival Radar is a free app to find your friends at music festivals. It doesn't need GPS, WIFI, mobile data or Bluetooth. It only uses a map and SMS. That means it works offline and it's very easy on your phone's battery!
How it works:
Pin your location on the map, select a friend and hit "Send". Festival Radar sends your friend an SMS with your coordinates. If they have Festival Radar installed as well, they’ll receive a notification, open it and see your location on the map. Simple as that!
Festival Radar does not need GPS, WIFI, mobile data or Bluetooth, so you can easily switch those off to conserve battery power (like we all do). The app uses the standard SMSs that are included in your mobile subscription plan or prepaid card, so no funky expensive proprietary system. You decide!

Als je de kaart voor de zwarte cross toevoegt dan kunnen wij deze voor je testen.

App werkt zoals ie zou moeten. Leuk is dat GPS if mobiele data niet hoeven aan te staan. Er zijn wel een paar dingen die een beetje beter kunnen - het zou leuk zijn als er bij de gestuurde sms'en wat uitleg zat (bv. ''[Persoon] zoekt je. Klik op de link om je locatie aan te duiden op de kaart'') Nu krijgen mensen alleen een link. - inzoomen op de kaart om preciezer te kunnen aanduiden zou handig zijn - details (de pin zou voor mij bv wat kleiner mogen) - meer kaarten is natuurlijk ook beter :D
