Contacts in One Place -J Shin

For this simple app inventor project, I intended to make an app that may strictly benefit my convenience as opposed to servicing others on an idea. In our 21st century generation, everyone of age all hold any form of contact method to be reached. In fact, predominant population utilizes social network, which allows individual to hold multiple forms of contact information. I personally hold up to 10 different contact information with about 5 active ones. My app will include all of my contact information as well as “one button” to call or text my cell phone. Camera built-in smart phones usually read QR code, which then can turn into a downloadable APK file. After the short download, users can reach me in any type of communicative network including phone calls.

In terms of functionality, it works quite efficiently as I wanted for this simple app inventor project. The work isn’t complicated while, at the same time, I would certainly find the useful side from this, since I no longer have to give out five different contact information at different times. In fact, I now only have to provide QR code, and people will be able to receive all information in one app.

At this stage, the app isn’t fully optimized or functioned yet, however, it holds an important value of “collection of business cards in one”. To fully expand on this project, I can allow users to create their own account set up in my app, which will allow others to enjoy the convenience I get.
