Ethiopia is located in the East of Africa. Its official language Amhariga. Every year, Ethiopia is blessed with abundant tourists coming to visit the country. One of the primary issue that many tourists face today is the question of language. My App, Learn Amhariga "ኣማርኟ" Language, is designed to help residents and tourists to learn Amhariga quickly. Learn Amhariga is an Android application program aimed to close language barrier between tourists and the local people.
The Homepage have got seven features that users are allowed to click on the button and this will guide them to a new page. The seven features include Alphabet, Numbers, Amhariga Dictionary, Greeting, Transportation, Asking Direction, and Eating Out. The Alphabet and Numbers screen provides users with the necessary information on how to write Amhariga language by combing different characters or letters. Amhariga Dictionary screen is linked to website that offers users to view a direct translation of Amhariga word to English word. The setting of Greeting, Transportation, Asking Direction, and Eating Out screen is almost similar. They have important phrases and words that users can master their pronunciation skills in Amhariga language. They have Amhariga text files so that users can view words or phrases written in English in to Amhariga language. In addition, users can also record their voices and play it back to see if their pronunciations of Amhariga words right.
