Questa App vuole essere un piccolo strumento didattico per gli studenti universitari che si avvicinano per la prima volta allo studio di minerali e rocce in sezione sottile, attraverso l'uso del microscopio ottico polarizzatore. La schermata di inizio consente di accedere a una serie di funzioni che aiutano lo studente a eseguire al microscopio alcune determinazioni ottiche sui minerali , ma anche a osservare, a luce naturale e polarizzata, alcuni minerali e rocce tra i più diffusi in natura. This App is intended as a small teaching tool for college students who come for the first time to the study of minerals and rocks in thin section, through the use of polarized light microscope. The start screen allows you to access a variety of functions that help the student to make certain determinations under the microscope optics on minerals, but also to observe, with natural light and polarized, some minerals and rocks among the most widespread in nature.
