Totem Animals is designed to help you develop a relationship with your totem animals, also known as power animals or animal spirit guides.
Totem Animals currently contains 75 animals (20 are available immediately and you unlock the others by granting wishes to your totems. If you have upgraded from the free version, make sure you are running the full and not the free version).
You can hold three totems as your chosen totem animals at any time. Grant them nature-related wishes and more totem animals will be available to you.
Each animal has:
- a beautiful illustration by British wildlife artist PK Rollings
- some interpretive text, to help you understand why that particular animal is drawn to you
Please feel free to request animals that are not currently available. If you can think of ways the app could be improved, let us know that as well - crowcity@gmail.com
Designed in the style of an illuminated Medieval manuscript bestiary, Totem Animals provides a springboard for you to delve more deeply into:
- a relationship with your totem animals
- developing aspects of yourself
- the beauty of nature
We hope you have as much fun with it as we did making it.
The app currently has a slight British bias, but should suit people everywhere, as you can choose which totems to select as your special ones. For example, the app contains Scottish wildcats, which are only found in Scotland. Mind you, there are also some mythic and extinct creatures lurking in the app as well ...

Really gets you in touch with your totems by "requiring" that you try activities ('grant wishes') aligned with that totem's energy (so far they've all been realistic&fun,like petting a creature or feeling the wind on my face) prior to trying another animal. You can have up to 3 totems at a time,&can't switch one out when it's asking for a wish that you haven't granted. Of course you could not invite it to ask a wish,or lie in claiming you've accomplished it,but where's the fun in that? ;)

I used to enjoy this app, but ever since getting my galaxy s5 it won't open. The whole app crashes on start up. Response from the creator was wonderful and prompt. Seems to just have problems with Samsung. Highly recommend it if your device can run it.

This app is something I can use as passive enjoyment and to push myself out of my shell a bit and get back to nature. But waaay too many of the wishes have something to do with bugs, and for someone like me with a huge phobia of them that's kind of awful. I hat cheating and hitting complete without doing it but "watch a spider" had me shaking in a whimpering ball. XP

I bought this app for help. Wasted my time and money. Billions of plants, insects and animals and all they have is 20. Then I found out they treat this like a game. You have to DO things to get more. I was looking for serious help. I didn't find it here. I'll be getting a refund on this.

Developer has turned this into a bit of a game. The more 'totems tasks' you complete, the more totems you unlock! Well I went through and just said id completed the tasks. I now have my full set of totems. Now I have an interesting and very usable app!!! Note to others: the 'taster version' is just that with limited totems. The full version has a large number of totems but you unlock them by completing 'totem tasks'. Very easy to get round if you want to, just keep clicking the little relevant icon!

loved this app on an older device (that retired itself) & this new fandangled Samsung device downloads the app but it won't open it...I'm sad :(
