What are users saying about Articulation Speech Therapy

Voice recognition very poor. My daughter was saying words correctly but it consistently misheard her, which is frustrating. I just ended up marking it correct. App does provide a wide variety of flashcards though. Couldn't find the simple sentence structure or promised. Will be looking for a better app.

I love this app. However, maybe you should monitor the adds a little better. A few have popped up that were rather inappropriate. Thankfully, my child cannot read. I can screen shot them as they pop up if that helps. I would like to say that this app is exactly what I was looking for for my child that does in home therapy.

I said 'boat' and it thought i said star and then guitar!!! What hope has my child got with speech difficulties if i cant get it right

S70%
by S####:

The app is great, but I am getting a runtime error saying the text to speech, (being INOVA), is "attempting to invoke a virtual method... on a null object reference." Don't understand the issue, would appreciate your help, thank you.

by S####:

Helped my daughter with articulation practice. A lot more impartial than me! It gets a bit annoying since the app just uses the same encouraging words ("you're really trying! ") over and over, but very useful.

S70%
by S####:

My son loves being able to record his attempts at replicating the words. Sometimes the record button locks up, but not often. Great app! Thanks!

F70%
by F####:

I use this regularly with my kids and it's helped them learn and pronounce words very fast. I feel using this regularly at home for a few weeks has helped my 3 year olds articulation more than anything else including SLP sessions. It's so easy that toddlers can control it.

You've really gotta rerecord the voices on here. They're terrible. "Fantastic" really doesn't sound like i did fantastic.

S70%

Its a joke and pays no attention to your speech! Absolutely disgraceful!

G70%

Does not catch mispronounciations, no clear directions or goal setting.

U70%

Not great. Needs a whole lot more words. Also words get reused too many items.

Y70%

I was very excited for this app as I have a son who has been in speech for over a year now. The reviews said many good things about this app but it was not what it seemed to be. The app isn't as welcoming to children as it should be. It also doesn't accurately hear the child say the word. My son was saying a word perfect but it kept telling him he was wrong. I then tried after him and it continued to tell me I was wrong. My son and I both became very frustrated with this. It will be uninstalled,

K70%
by K####:

One problem though. When the card represents a number such as three or thirteen and you say 'three' or 'thirteen' the app interprets it as a number (3 or 13). And there's no match. The workaround is to spell 't.h.r.e.e.' which gives you the match. Not good. But otherwise a VERY useful tool.

The concept seems very good and the layout is easy. My son, however, said the voice that plays with the flash cards is "sad." But it is nice to have the cards and recording option

U70%

The pictures are beautiful, but sometimes it didn't recognize correct productions of a word. I like using it without the verbal feedback and giving my own feedback.

Very good app for speech therapy. My son is improving a lot. The only thing is that he will be a Trini with an American accent.
