ABA Therapy Aphasia Autism for Android
I like the app but would like to be able to turn the sound off through the program. I think it would make a great tool for anomia. I can turn off the name but I need to be able to totally come up with the word. There aren't many/any good anomia programs. This could work for that. Update: I sent them a message and they're going to add the sound feature with the next update.
Few tweaks: needs ability to disable sound and some of the labels (e.g coffee table) are pronounced as one word (like comfortable or irritable) instead of coffee/table. Also could consider perhaps doing a UK version as some of the words like closet and crib are unfamiliar - in UK it would be wardrobe/cupboard and cot.
When an app aids with speech and word/picture recognition, it is extremely important to use correct terminology, and be very picky with what you're conveying. There are a few errors found here and there. Do not use plural (mice) when only one mouse is shown. Be specific. It is crucial.
I like the app all but words like coffeetable. They are linked together. So the words are not pronounced separate. They are sounded out together as one word so it is not correct. Could also use updated photos.
I paid an extra $10.00for premium access but never got it..the available content is very simple, I was hoping for more if a challenge that's why I paid more money..
Freezes on a blank black screen each time I try opening
A giraffe is not furniture, etc.
My child really learned alot using this app.
Try it for yourself. Boring!
I paid for premium service, and have yet to get all the categories unlocked. Please advise
Good app my son like it
It works for me
ABA Therapist
Good to learn sight words
Awesome App!
Looks good
Good
It has Malware virus
Very good for people with autistic kid
Sundy
I like the simple user interface. I believe that it is beneficial for a variety of patients. The repetition with a twist is excellent it works that cognitive area. I hope to see verbs and actions in future versions. These I am seeing as the true building block foundation for if a patient does not understand that the person is running it matters not that it is a girl or a buffalo. Not a negative point just hope to see those action words. They help.
As an ABA therapist this is a great app to use for DTT. Many of the children I work with prefer the use of tablets during sessions. I had an issue trying to upgrade the app, however the customer service I received was fantastic and they soon sorted out the problem. Would definitely recommend.
It has a rat labelled mouse! If they couldn't be bothered to get that right, it must be a very poorly done app. I certainly wouldn't want to use it with a child.
There's something so cute about this app that makes me want to go back to being a child!!! Aphasia Picture Cards Lite is really cute
It charged me 9.99 for premium and nothing was unlocked, just original free version, please fix or refund my money plz.
My mom is struggling from stroke damage and dementia, this app keeps her interested and feeling productive. Thanks.
This app doesn't work well and you have to upgrade to get most of it
Coffee table doesn't sound right and center table doesn't even sound like "center table" I want my child to learn but not incorrectly... uninstalled
My child really learned alot using this app.
Good except American robotic voice which for British users language difference could be a problem
Paid and won't unlock. Go premium button not working
I LOVE this So Awesome and Love it.
Its ok
I like
Cool App , must try!!!
Awesome.very nice.
very nice
I like the app but my 15 yr old mid functioning autistic son quickly learned the routine. I see there are many more options in the paid version so that may last a little longer.
Enjoying this app, It is easy to use as it is very similar to what my son's speech therapist uses. I think it is good purchase and worth every penny.
