Low Back Pain Questionnaire

This is an app version of the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ) for low back pain. The RMDQ consists of 24 questions evaluating the functional ability of the person experiencing low back pain. Persons experiencing low back pain or clinicians can use it to evaluate the functional status during the episode of low back pain. The questionnaire itself is free for use by the original authors. So is this app.

Scoring: The RMDQ has no score cut-offs to evaluate severity of low back pain. However, it is useful for evaluating the progression of the condition and the effectiveness of any treatment for the low back pain. This is done by calculating the percentage improvement or deterioration of the condition. Research shows that a 30% change (improvement or deterioration) in the RMDQ is a clinically important finding.
