Neelkanth

The name Neelkanth has been assigned to Lord Shiva.The essence behind the word "Neelkanth" is that one who has swallowed all the poisons (abuses and insults) given to him in this world with equanimity and yet offered blessings to others, hence becoming Shiva.
If daily recited at the time of puja the Arti and Chalisa is said to provide you special blessings of Neelkanth Mahadev and help you liberate yourself from all the sins.
