Frequenza Libera è una emittente Libera Universitaria, un'idea, un esperimento, un canale radiofonico sul Web (con tante incursioni in FM), indipendente, volontario, a basso costo per far confluire idee, posizioni, informazioni, modi di essere e di pensare degli studenti per gli studenti. Siamo un'associazione indipendente fondata da studenti del Politecnico di Bari che hanno realizzato, con le loro competenze, software open source e attrezzature di recupero (nostri vecchi pc e microfoni usb da poche decine di euro) un sistema di trasmissione web a costi quasi nulli (ci basiamo sul solo autofinanziamento). Il Politecnico di Bari ha deciso di patrocinare gratuitamente il progetto e ci ha fornito una sede nella sua struttura. Abbiamo un palinsesto definito, tanti format, trasmettiamo 24 ore su 24 e manteniamo un Podcast con tutte le registrazioni delle dirette trasmesse fin dalla nostra nascita. Frequenza Libera funziona grazie al software libero e alle opere Creative Commons e artisti indipendenti dalla SIAE. Well now problem solved! With this application you can listen to all transmissions of Radio Frequency Free with your Smatphone or Tablet using WIFI or, if this is missing, the 3G connection using very little bandwidth!

Libera is a frequency broadcaster Free University, an idea, an experiment, a radio station on the Web (with many forays into FM), an independent, voluntary, low cost to bring together ideas, positions, information, ways of being and thinking students for students. We are an independent association founded by students of the Polytechnic of Bari who have realized, with their skills, open source software and recovery equipment (our old pc and usb microphones from a few tens of euro) a transmission system web at almost zero cost (we rely only on self-financing). The Politecnico di Bari decided to sponsor the project for free and gave us a place in its structure. We have a defined schedule, so many formats, we send 24 hours and 24 maintain a Podcast with all records of direct broadcast since our birth. Frequency Free works thanks to free software and works Creative Commons and independent artists from SIAE.
