In 1981, Southwest FM Broadcasting, a Prescott company, made the decision to provide a consistently relaxing and comfortable listening environment, one as beautiful as Prescott itself. While other stations moved on to more contemporary formats, we did not. We like to say: "We've always been Calm, and we always will be." We began streaming on the internet in 2007.

Plays mostly music for those of us who are of an earlier generation or people who enjoy music of a slower pace. I personally love the music they play, have it on the car radio, computer, phone and tablet. And that alone says I really enjoy the music they play.

Driving last night from Flagstaff to Phoenix, tuned in to 102.1 FM and discovered an amazing local broadcast. Leaving Phoenix today, was hoping to be able to listen to it online, but $20/mo subscription I think is a little too much. Sorry, next time around, I'll tune in

App does not mute audio from. station during phone calls. I always have to tell caller that I will call them back after I turn off the app . Otherwise, I love the station. I am using Galaxy Note 4. Did the same on Galaxy S4.
