Icelandic Flash Cards is exactly what it sounds like... virtual flash cards to help English speakers learn Icelandic! These flash cards cover over 200 words in the categories: Animals, Basics, Body, Calendar, Clothing, Colors, Family, Food, Home, Numbers, Office, Outdoors, Places and Verbs!

This is a simple and fast way to learn Icelandic vocabulary, or brush up on what you might already know. First the flash card shows the word in English. Tap the card to flip it and see the word in Icelandic, as well as hear it spoken in Icelandic. Use the arrows to toggle through the cards in each category.

For this app to work you MUST install an Icelandic voice on your device.

1.) Open Settings

2.) Choose “Language & input”

3.) Choose “Text-to-speech output”

4.) Choose your speech engine

5.) Choose “Install voice data”

6.) Download Icelandic

7.) One it is fully downloaded, repoen Icelandic Flashcards
