About Simple NXT Robot controller
This is a very simple NXT 2.0 robot controller.
You'd need a Lego NXT robot, with a motor connected to ports A & B.
Have a look at my pictures, but really, you could build it in any shape. I've chosen to try and make mine balanced, with equal amount of weight at the front and back. I also added a bit of padding front and back so that the robot does not flip over easily.
Next turn on the NXT and pair with your Android device. This takes a bit of fiddling, but persevere, you'll get there.
Before starting the app, make sure the phone is level (or it will start to send instructions before the bluetooth connection is made with the app).
Tap the "Connect with Robot" button, and it should connect with your phone or tablet.
Once connected, tilt the phone or tablet to any side.
When over 15 degrees tilt is detected, an arrow will appear showing the (biggest) tilt direction, and the instruction will be sent to the robot to make it move as desired.
Development notes: It's developed as a technology demonstrator, and used to tech kids, so it's by no means as perfect or refined as it could be. The intention is that you go and play, and make your own and improve on it!
