Hamdroid (Lottery Helper)

Update 3/13/17: Hello San Francisco! The stable version of the app doesn't support your city yet, BUT the alpha testing version does. This is an alpha test, so expect bugs (and please report them to us so we can make the app better). Want to see Hamilton? Want a chance to see it for $10 a ticket? The Ham4Ham online lottery is here for you, and our unofficial app is here to make entering it as quick and easy as possible.

The first time you run the app, you'll be asked to enter your information as required by the lottery (i.e. name, email, birthday, zip code). You can update this information later if you like.

After that, it's easy to enter:

Step 1: Choose the show time you'd like to enter the lottery for.
Step 2: Watch as your info is filled out for you, then check the box and prove you're a human.
Step 3: Tap 'Enter' to enter the lottery!

This app works great with your IFTTT recipe that alerts you when you get an email from lottery@broadwaydirect.com (which will confirm your entry and tell you if you've won or not, automatically).

This app was made by an amateur in my spare time using the MIT App Inventor 2. I'll do my best to respond to any support requests or feature suggestions.

This app does not (yet) include notifications as to when the lottery opens. But you can get them anyway using IFTTT. For New Yorkers and Chicagoans, I suggest creating an applet that sends a notification to your phone at 8am Tuesday-Sunday, one at noon on Saturday and Wendesday, and another that notifies you when you receive an email from lottery@broadwaydirect.com (this last one will confirm your entries and tell you if you won or not).

This free app is (unobtrusively) ad-supported.

Your form information is saved onto your phone locally and is only shared (with only one other party, the makers of the lottery you submit to) when you submit it to the lottery.
