About instant NetWORTH

Instant NetWorth (a Second Budget) is aimed at showing you how your net-worth is improving daily by expressing all your bills and income as a daily amount and then adding them all up.

Instant NetWorth is unique. There are no other financial management programs that utilize this concept.
Instant NetWorth removes ALL the Credits and Debits from your financial situation. It deals with Now.

Imagine a world when people that owe you money pay you by the end of the day.
Imagine a world when all the companies, and people that you owe money to “Let” you pay them by the end of the day everyday.

Then you would KNOW for sure how much Money you have Left Over.

Well, the world is not that way, but this program adjusts all those Credits that companies give you for paying late and it adjusts for all the Credit you give to others as well – in order to come up with a number that is your NetWorth at this moment in time.

This is important because once you know your Networth, you can watch it change daily and you can take control of your finances by watching yourself climb out of debt faster and/or use your wealth wisely.

Here is another example: Imagine counting the cash in your wallet. Now, have a friend give you a dollar, just for a moment. How much money do you have? How much is yours?

This program calculates how much money you have and how much is considered yours at any moment in time.

If you pay your bills in advance, you have given Credit to those companies. Likewise, when you earn a paycheck, and they don't pay you cash at the end of the day, you are loaning the money in a sense to your employer.

Now you can keep track of all the money coming in and all the money going out. Regardless if you pay your bills late or early - this program will balance out the bills by giving you a total NetWorth which you can compare and see if you are improving your finances month to month or day by day.

This program has 2 sample databases you can load. The smaller database better shows the concept I am trying to convey. For example: Let’s say you pay rent month to month with a landlord who refunds the days you don’t use when you move out. This program will tell you how much “Rent Credit” you have left. At the same time, you can also budget next months Rent. You save exactly the same amount everyday as you consume. It balances out. By the time rent is due, you will have the full amount saved.

You can customize instant NetWorth to be as simple or as complex as you desire. You can show ALL of your assets and bills or leave some out. I have a coin collection and I count the face value of all the coins as a separate asset item in the NetWorth program. I assign it a positive 4 value meaning it is not very liquid. The closer to zero, the more liquid a budget item is. Bills always have negative liquidity values in the program. Of the bills that you Must Pay Every Time they are due, you should assign a -1. You can then begin to think about your bills in order of priority with the luxuries at -3, -4, or -5. Perhaps a student loan is money you can’t pay on it right now, so you assign it a -5.

A great goal is to have a lot more liquid assets such as cash in your wallet and in the bank THAN non-liquid assets that you can not or do not want to touch. (Bills you've paid in advance are calculated as a Credit – and not liquid).
