MatMath - The Matting Calculator!
A great and handy tool for artists and anyone Matting a print, photo, or anything!
The simple interface asks you to enter the size of the picture your wanting to mat, the size of the material your using, and even how you want your margins/borders setup.
Great for making wonderful framed works with plaques or other detailing - or even just to be sure your centered!
Features:
* Adjustable margins for top/bottom + left/right
* Visual depiction of finished matting job
* Auto-Draw option
Application was written entirely in AppInventor and so has a few limitations.
A true re-write in normal Android code is planned.
With the re-write resolution specific graphics will be included as well, which will resolve the slightly fuzzy look on larger tablet displays.

Things I'd like to see would be fractions instead of decimals, double mats, and calculating multiple openings for multiple picture arrangements. As it is, it's not much better than doing it in your head.

Would love to be able to see results in 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 inches rather than decimals for practical use. An option to toggle results between inches and centimeters would also be great. It would also be useful to be able to custom set the ratios between top and bottom edges or to set one at a constant (such as 4 inches) and have the calculator tell you what the other should be. Thanks for working on this app!
